Doc's BBQ Smoke Shack

We walked in around 2 o’clock and immediately were sat. A very nice atmosphere and very very clean. I was blown away by all of the options on the menu. I had no idea. I was expecting just barbecue they have so many choices. I had the meatloaf and my best friend had brisket. I cannot wait to go back and try something else. Hands-down one of the best places I’ve eaten in Brandenburg.

It's not easy to produce quality bbq in the amount necessary for a restaurant but Doc's does. Brisket or pork, both are right on! Try the fried pickles and the waffle fries with their homemade sauce.

Me and my wife go out to eat all the time. We normally go into places, hoping this would be somewhere that we can come back to because of good food and good atmosphere. We don’t normally find that, with all the restaurants out there. Very few are good 🤔
This restaurant is the exception. This is the best eaten establishment that we have ate in in a long time. The restaurant was super clean. Our waitress Brittany was the best waitress we’ve had in a long time, wonderful personality, very attentive. The food was awesome, I would give them a five star on everything. You won’t regret eating here. It is one hour and 15 minutes from our house, and I could see going back on a regular basis.

We tried Doc's for the first time with some friends. The four of us were amazed at how we had not heard of this place before. The food was outstanding. Portions were huge and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Brittany was so friendly and spent time talking with us after the meal. We were so pleased I will be using Doc's to provide the food for a upcoming family reunion I am host this summer over at Rough River. We will definitely be back soon!

Was my Mom and I 1st time there. We live in Radcliff and this food was the best around by far! Better than one the ones I went to in Louisville. Will definitely be back.

I loved the burgoo and cornbread here. Got it to go. The cornbread is actually more like a hoecake. They make it to order and it has a slight taste of bacon grease which goes well with the the stew. I wish the stew was a little heavier on the vegetables but the overall flavor was perfectly smoky and mildly spicy. Reheated leftovers the following day and the texture held well.

One order is 16 ounces of burgoo and 2 cornbreads. 11.99 plus tax as of August 2022.

The best kept secret in Brandenburg, KY. The food was amazing. The brisket was so juicy. Portion sizes are huge. Food came home with us.

This place is such a treat! The service here is always AMAZING. They have never failed to put a smile on our face. The food is very tasty. The wings are perfectly done and are my favorite. My wife loves the haystack with brisket. Thanks to the the staff and the kitchen for never disappointing!!!

Update: if you go on a friday evening, expect it to be packed and take a while to get seated. Food was still delicious. It's an unassuming place in a strip mall that packs some delicious food. The place was clean and had a good atmosphere. I'm guessing it was the owner who served me. He took the time to tell me how long everything has been out of the smoker. I had the brisket sandwich and got the smoked meatloaf to go. The food was so delicious. The brisket was juicy and chunky, with a great portion. I plan on being back!

From the moment we stepped through the door the service was awesome. Very friendly guy seated us ( I didn't catch his name) and Melissa who was our server, she was a sweetheart. I ordered the ribs and they were so good. We came down for a mini vacay from Michigan and stopped here based on the good reviews. Well they were right. If you get a chance stop in and enjoy a great atmosphere and delicious food. I definitely recommend Docs BBQ. Smoke Shack. Keep up the good work 👍👍

Have not had this fine of BBQ in quite some time and we are out of town. Portions are more than enough to eat. I’m going to make 2 meals out of my plate

First time eating here and it was so delicious. I had the BBQ Pork Potato Cake and my boyfriend had the Super Sized Smoking Tater. We have been telling are family about this restaurant.
