Southeast Christian Church - Shelby County Campus

I am moving to Shelbyville very soon and I did a recon to find a church home for me and my children.
I have heard good things about this place of worship.
I was very happy I came and worshiped the Lord.
Today, was about fruit of the spirit, I am born again and I wrestle against principalities of the air I cannot see.
I have magnets on my refrigerator and they signify the different fruits the Holy Spirit releases into our life.
I lack patience and I lack gentleness and I lack self control and this causes me to not have abundant peace in my life. I pray about these and I see the Lord moving in my life, in these areas I just mentioned.
I believe that God moves to encourage each and everyone of us by Him revealing Himself in our lives when we seek Him.
My kids are new to the school system and they seem to be adjusting quite well.
They are excited about the prospects of a new church home.
In the Book of Isaiah it says, God opens doors no man can shut and He shuts doors no man can open. The writer may not have intended for the interpretation for me in this situation of starting a new life as a single dad, then again maybe he did.
This Church is much larger than the country church we have been attending and that’s fine by me, when I get to Heaven to cast a crown at the feet of Jesus, I am sure Heaven will be much larger than the campus I visited this morning.
According to the Word of God, Heaven is 1500 miles high, wide and deep, like a cube I suppose.
We will be going as a family this Thursday evening after school, hope to see you there to worship God and His Son Jesus Christ.

This is an amazing Church! I go on Wednesday nights to the women's Bible study. They have men's Bible study along with teen youth group, and other children groups. They make you feel welcomed and you'll definitely want to come back. I'm so thankful that they brought this campus here. I would definitely recommend this Church to anyone looking for a group, friendship, kindness, sisterhood/brotherhood and so much more.

This is a great church but the most important thing you can do is fine Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He's were you are if you're looking and listening. God Bless you all who read this.

When you come for the 1st time, they notice you right away and love to help and assist you.If you have a child,you can sign them up and they have classrooms for your children to play with others and have fun while you go to your sermon.This place has been a real blessing for me and I'm very greatful and appreciative.
