The service was warm and friendly, not being from the area meant a lot. The coffee was good and so were our entrees. The hash was true hash (not out of a can) and the crab cake was fresh and meaty. The classic diner feel- decorated with historical items that give it an interesting feel to the atmosphere. Very happy we stopped in and felt joyfull leaving

Did the corned beef sandwich for take out, which was brilliant!

Love the atmosphere, and I look forward to going back to dine in!

My only complaint is that I wish my sandwich was a bit thicker. The corned beef is that good!

We are visiting from Toronto and stumbled upon this diner for breakfast. Food was very good but the service was outstanding! Our group has some food restrictions and our waiter, Mikie went above and beyond to make sure the kitchen staff were made aware. Would definitely go back.

Great place, the service is outstanding and the prices are very good, I'm looking forward to take my breakfast again. Btw: love the decorations using doors in all the restaurant, soo unique style.

1/12/24 - Everything tasted great and was served hot. One gripe is the prices are not low. Yes, everything is going up, but $20 for an omelette is getting expensive.
This is a family favorite, and been so for years. Been here many times. Had the banana pancakes with sausage links (which I am told is better than the patties). My only complaint is that the dinner section is not open. But, as for the current offerings, they are great.

The owner and staff could not be any nicer. If you want a full meal or just grab a coffee...you are welcomed and treated with attention and respect. You must go for the relaxed atmosphere....delicious food great service and homieness of the place!

It's a nice quaint homely restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. Has very warm and charming waiters. The owner John Farmington is charming and welcoming. They serve delicious and amazing food.

They have cooking stoves on they have been using over the years on display since 1983.

It's Lawrence hidden gem.

Have not had a bad dish here. Staff is always friendly. The decor with highlights from Lawrence's mill history is a nice touch.

Great breakfast and lunch place. Wait staff is always pleasant and helpful. Food is delicious. I suggest the Irish eggs Benedict and the BLT sandwich for lunch

Great breakfast and superb customer service make this a must stop. It is our go to family breakfast place. Food is always fresh, home fries are seasoned just right and staff is always friendly!

Can’t say enough good things about Carleen’s! The food always hits the spot. It’s very tasty and great portions! At Carleen’s, you are treated like family. The service is always outstanding - they check in with you for coffee often. I just discovered it a year ago after moving to Andover for school, and I was so sad to say goodbye - I will definitely be back to visit!

Every Sunday we can that's the place to go for breakfast 🥞🍳 the staff always smiles and gives us a awesome service.

I haven't been to Carleen's since prior to covid. This place is a hidden gem. Still excellent service, fresh food, friendly staff who welcomes you with a smile. I'm looking forward to bringing my family here. My husband and I recently went alone but definitely coming again very soon. Keep up the excellent work Carleen's 👏 best in my hometown ❤

While visiting last month from Florida we found this amazing breakfast spot! The food was delicious and the owner/wait staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Mmm wonderful breakfast at Carleen's today! Friendly staff all around, speedy service, and quality food. This is our new spot for breakfast on our way home from Boston! The home fries were beautifully done, the pancakes were perfectly cooked, and the sausage links were plump and tasty! They also have a nice selection of bread for your toast! If you're looking for a delicious breakfast, this is the place to go!
