The Breadbasket Bakery and Cafe

Fantastic!!! Loved driving on 23. The bakery seemed to be Amish run. Very friendly, helpful service featuring fresh baked breads as well as super appealing farm fresh veggies. Getting back to I90 was the most spectacular scenic drive in MA in 25+ years! Passed through Jacob's Ladder rest stop and drove by countless lakes. The mountain terrain heightened our bakery experience, literally! Chips/ Popcorn and a water bottle come with the Sandwich.

The best place for grinders hands down. The Joe Tea was really good too. They even cater to those picky like me and put everything on the side. Try their salads. I'd love to know if you could eat it all in one sitting!! Wonderful owners and wonderful emoyees! Highly recommend.

Arrived here as it is a 2 minute drive from Noble View. The lady behind the counter was genuinely the friendliest person I’ve encountered in a long time. I bought breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Both of which were very fresh and excellent. The garlic dill bread as toast is incredible. They pack the place in with quite a lot of stuff around each corner. If only everyone had the same approach to business as these folks do.

The kind folks at the bread basket keep a warm, pleasant atmosphere and high quality products at reasonable prices, what more could you want?? We highly recommend the burgers, dogs and fries on Fridays from 4-7, grass fed burgers on homemade buns - so good!!

I found this place at the Amherst Farmers market on Saturday. I got a blueberry pie from them and I have to say it is the best blueberry pie I've ever had. I'll be buying another pie from them when I see them next Saturday!

Best pancakes you will ever try!!! They just melt in your mouth. The bread and sandwiches are super fresh. The cinnamon sugar donuts are perfection, and its no wonder they sell out! The service is always very pleasant. We also like their homemade lucky charms marshmallows they have for sale. The cheddar bread is yummy, too. Better than any store bought varieties anywhere. There is no longer a dining area to sit, but they have a variety of awesome goodies to buy. They also have jams/jellies without added sugar!! Did I mention the pancakes are the best you will ever try!!!

WOW. All the breads and danishes are SO Good :) . Definitely recommend all the bakes good. Always have to stop in to get some goodies on my way to visit my dad.

Just love this place and stop whenever I'm in town or passing through. Needed eggs and powdered sugar - they have a little bit of everthing! Even saw some friends there! Just a great little stop and very nice workers/owners. Highly recommend.

My wife, kids & I stopped in here for the first time for lunch with a gift certificate that our Pastor from New Life in Westfield gave us. The food was delicious and fresh while the service was wonderful. Highly recommended for a local meal, special gift or organic whole food refill for your pantry. 5 Stars!

Definitely check The Breadbasket out. Excellent baked goods…love the donuts😋 Got the flowers for my flower beds here this year and also my pepper plants and they are doing very well. Stop by for lunch and order a grinder… they have the BEST. Or if you’d rather they serve breakfast like pancakes, burritos, breakfast sandwiches, or crepes! You’ll leave with a smile for sure😊

Their baked and canned goods are excellent, great deli and I love the grinders.
I gain 10 lbs every time I walk in the door
And of course all the staff are amazing.

Wonderful place! So many delicious fresh baked items, several different types of bread and desserts! They also have a very reasonably priced deli!

These people are so extremely talented. My family lives in the hill towns above the Breadbasket and I love stopping there on my way up and spending $10-$20 on cool homemade stuff. Their treats are so good, with my favorite being the snickerdoodle cookies, and their breads are always so fresh.
A staple to the hilltowns, everyone should experience The Breadbasket or The Cream of the Crop at least once.

Great food and service. The quality of food you get for the price is amazing.

Discovered this shop yesterday. We bought two different breads and a couple of apple fritters. The apple fritters were gone right away and the bread gone today. Will definitely stop back next time I am in the area. I saw reviews about their raspberry and Boston cream donuts, will have to give those a try (did not have them in stock yesterday).

Love this place!! The Amish own the establishment and are always Friendly. They have huge, delicious overstuffed grinders for dining in or take out. They make homemade delicious pies and desserts. They even have icecream. Did I mention they have like a general store with lotions, soaps, candles, remedies for what ails you. Stop in and say hello. Have a cup of coffee. Even serve breakfast. You can even buy your cold cuts there. Really worth stopping in
