Cookies Cafe

A coffee was really really good surprisingly. Hash browns were nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Waitress was really nice and attentive. The pancakes I got were gigantic associate as you'll see in the photo overall everything was really good.

All I can say is yum! We got the cinnamon bun pancakes (not too heavy or decadent, but oh-so-delicious) and the breakfast burrito (grilled to perfection) with a side of hash browns. It was breakfast heaven — definitely worth a try if you’re in the neighborhood. The only disappointment for me was that real maple syrup costs $2.50. The next time we make it there for breakfast, we’ll bring our own.

I’ll be honest. This is the first 5 star I’m leaving on any review solely for the food. I don’t mind cafe or diners being small or anything but this place as indeed a little more cramped than I’d prefer. The waitress was kind, not overbearing and didn’t bugged me every other second which I like.

The main issue I had was going in and seeing I needed a mask until I sat (which is obvious, I just forgot mind in the car because I was dumb), but after the cashier said that I immediately noticed that ALL the employees either didn’t have one on themselves (the ones in the back COOKING) or had them barely covering their mouths at all. Just the enforcement minus doing what you’re enforcing wasnt it for me.

The cafe has a lack of drinks. Everything was in a cooler and didn’t have many options. They had coffee, both hot and iced with the option of vanilla or regular. But no selection for more flavors, juices, or soft drinks.

I made the joke to my fiancé about the prices, that the food better blow my mind and BOY HOWDY, the portions were fantastic, it was presented nicely and it tasted delicious. When I took my first bite of the banana bread French toast, I inhaled so deep and damn near cried. Nothing else mattered. I also had corned beef hash which was delectable. I admits wish I had ordered a side of fried eggs but oof. It’s okay. I also don’t know what they put on their bacon (Honey, maybe?) but I could eat it all day. In every meal. The food is A1.

Cookies Cafe is a charming little restaurant that is staffed by super friendly and welcoming staff. I had the steak and egg quesadilla which was flavorful and very filling! Great local spot we're happy to have in our neighborhood.

It was cozy and welcoming. The portions were huge. We loved our food and the hospitality was great. 🙂

The food was incredible, the service was stellar! Their salmon eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection, and those hash browns didn't last very long on my plate. Clean plate club! I'll definitely be going back!

The banana bread French toast is simply amazing well balanced don't even need syrup tastes perfect the way they serve it. The chefs Asparagus & ham Omelet is so full of flavor cook perfect. Definitely will return, the staff is Amazing & very clean worth the wait.

Visited on a Sunday morning and was happy to see it wasn’t too busy. Service was quick, too. Ordered the “small” pancakes and they were the size of plates, I ate about half of one and was stuffed.

We had the cinnamon roll pancakes, home fries and the new shrimp and grits. Everything came out hot and fresh. The pancakes were huge but still so light and fluffy. The icing wasn't overly sweet and complimented the cinnamon perfectly. The home fries were crispy and wonderfully seasoned. A perfect salty/sweet combo with the pancakes. The shrimp and grits were cooked just right with fresh peppers, onions and shrimp. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy. 10 out of 10 would recommend. I always have a great experience here! The food is delicious and has new dishes to try, the staff is so kind and hardworking. My friend tried the stuffed French toast and finished it in 5min :) will always come back

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch experience at Cookie’s Cafe. He is a connoisseur of Ruben sandwiches and could not say enough things about this sandwich. My meal was equally delicious. The staff and owner were exceptionally friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!!

Cookies started off my day on the right leg. My wife and I were the very first customers in today. We sat and were greeted promptly. After our server took our order the food came out hot and ready within 10minutes.

My wife ordered the Cookies Famous Cinnamon roll pancakes - A Classic Fan Favorite - 2 huge plate size pancakes with cinnamon roll filling and warm icing. You don't even need syrup on these. But it's your choice. I saw a new addition to the menu the Spicy Shrimp n Grits. Grits are a bit tricky because they need enough thickness but enough water to compliment anything you eat with them. The bowl comes out after everything else. I was not disappointed. The presentation was an A+, so colorful, green, red, yellow, peppers; chopped sweet onion pieces; chorizo; shrimp. This looked amazing and the flavor was on point. Almost like a breakfast play on a Cajun Shrimp Gumbo with a breakfast roux topped off with a Sunny side up egg with just enough yolk to add that rich texture.

Cookie came out to ask us how our meal was and it was a top 10 breakfast in all of my 36 years of life.

My sister and I ate here this morning and the food was delicious! The service is prompt and they're so friendly and welcoming. This is the only breakfast place in town that has Eggs Benedict and I believe they're the best breakfast place in town. It is a small cafe, but so amazing, make sure to tip well they deserve it!

What an gem this place is. I really love the family, friendly feel Cookie's offers opposed to the big box restaurants. Not to mention the love that Is put into every dish that she makes. I highly recommend that you take time out of your week and stop by to give it a try.
