Fish Bowl

The people are nice and the portions are BIG! We ordered the seafood platter with gator bites. If you like catfish, clam strips, crab, frog legs, and shrimp, then this is for you! They had something like a pickled green tomato chunks that were delicious!

Place was very busy but I was seated in under 10 min. Nice atmosphere and very clean.
Service was extremely good and I eat out all the time and was best service and food I've had in a very long time.
I ordered the 3 piece catfish and it was in the top 5 catfish places I have eaten at. I brought enough home for 3 more meals.
Very reasonably priced.
I'm in the area for 2 more weeks and I will be frequenting this place.
In fact if I'm within 2 hours of this place I would detour to eat at the fish bowl

We are in town for a wedding and decided to stop here for dinner. The portions are HUGE, the food was delicious, and the staff is so friendly. The restaurant is very, very clean. Not one bad thing to say about this place. Highly recommend.

The food was perfect! Our waitress Dani, was wonderful. She kept our glasses topped up, kept an eye on us and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.
We will be back, hopefully soon.

Never been here but my mother's family owns it everyone I've talked to love her great great things about the food that must fear and everything around. Highly recommended.

Great little place off the beaten path. Food was excellent, it was super busy but we didn't have to wait long and we were never left waiting for a refill. These are very nice local folks! Portions are large and fish is super tasty. First time I tried frog legs and they were very good. "Tastes like chicken" haha... I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.

I ate there for the first time Saturday the 15th. I absolutely loved it! I had Catfish with all the trimmings, and there was a lot! Had fried clams as an appetizer, everything was so good. I was afraid as busy as they looked we would be waiting forever. Not so! The service was great, and the prices very reasonable. I will definately be a repeat customer!

Food was great for the most park. Catfish was a tad done, crawfish etouffee was not what I am accustom too. (Not how my cajun family makes it) Wasn't big on the "this is a family restaurant" excuse for not serving beer. No liquor is one thing I can understand, but no beer? This is the south, beer is at every family gathering I have ever been too. (my fam or friends fam)
This alone I give it 2 stars, but the staff and the service here are top notch. Our servers were very entertaining, friendly, and prompt. That is why I give it 5 stars. I will definitely stop here on my next stay at the state park. I never did find out if the frog legs were local or not...inside joke...poor new girl. lol

This is our go-to place for great fried catfish. There were two couples in our party. We had: boiled shrimp and alligator appetizers, followed by 3 catfish dinners and one order of gumbo. It was excellent, as usual. (BTW-Their steaks and fried pies are excellent, as well.)

We love the food at the Fish Bowl and especially love the staff. We're always treated as good friends or family. Steve, Janice and Samantha are always checking on everyone to be sure you're pleased with your meal and to ask if you need anything. We highly recommend them.

Accomodated our impromptu party of 14 after a memorial service an hour and a half before closing with no issues whatsoever. Everything was amazing and the dipping sauce for the shrimp was sooo good. And the food came out lightning fast.

Great food and best service possible. Everyone was extremely friendly and the food was delicious, fresh, and hot. I highly recommend this place to everyone. We will be going back soon.

Great food, very friendly staff. We must have been ask 10 times , if we enjoyed the meal, and needed anything else. Love this place!
