Cove Creek Recreation Area & Campground

Stayed in mid May and lucked out with fantastic weather. The park attendant is one of the nicest and most helpful I’ve ever met. I hope she is there for years to come. The water views and boating options are very nice. Go early in the week to avoid the crowds.

It's a small park, but it seems nice. The camp sites do not have water hookups, but you can get water close to the restrooms. The camp sites have electricity, and there's a playground. Theres a place to fish and a boat launch.

No admission fee. This park was in a good condition, clean and beautiful. Their beach and part of parking was underwater. But we still had a good time.

My wife and I took our kids swimming here and because it was flooded, we didnt have to pay admission. We had a wonderful time and it was pretty fun wading around in shallow water where my kids could play and swim with a much lower risk of injury or drowning because of the flooding. It was fun exploring the campgrounds that were underwater. And because it was flooded, there werent that many people around. Highly recommend this spot to cool down and have fun as a family.

Came out for the weekend to camp and swim. We were lucky to get a site with electric on a Friday afternoon. $18 for a night ($16 without electricity) isn't too bad with a nice shower and bathroom facility. All the camp sites are close to the water. Park rangers and police come through about every two hours which is nice. I would recommend camping here to anyone who wants to get away from the city/dam site.

Love this place. I haven't been here in yrs now. I had forgotten how nice cove creak was. They have nice solar powered bathroom facilities and electrical camping options ,boat rentals and much much more. It's 18 dollars a night. Can't beat that price. There good times to be had at Cove Creek Recreation.

It was nice, quiet and the weather was perfect.

Very nice camping areas, very clean as well. Most of the camping sites are very close to the water. Others are slightly offset but still a very close walk to the waters edge. Swimming area is quite large. Fun for all ages. I enjoy coming to this park very often.

Great little area. They are constructing a extended camping area and a swim beach !! Nice area of the main lake channel

Have been camping at Greets Ferry for years and Cove Creek is the best that we have been to. Plenty of space and very clean. Doesn't have electric hook up but does have water hook ups. Would recommend anyone to go.

I'm a huge fan of Greers Ferry Lake. Clean and we'll maintained camping and swimming areas. It's been a cornerstone of my life. I have so many great memories and look forward to making more.

We absolutely love cove Creek Recreation 💖💖💖💖for 30 years are more my family has always gone to sandy beach or little red to camp or swim. A few years ago we discovered cove Creek and it has since become our fav place 💜💜💜 we live in little Rock and don't get to get away very often, but, when we do, this is where we go... A lot less folks...

Been here several times. Normally clean, with great lake access and small swimming area. Drive safe

Absolutely beautiful setting and very nice Campground. It is Corp of engineers so the Campground does not open until May, which is ridiculous

Great camp sites close to the water, can be secluded or around others, warm clear water with great swimming beaches all around, two boat ramps with plenty of parking

Absolutely love staying here! The camp site is always very clean and the other campers are always so welcome to be around!
