QDOBA Mexican Eats

I've long been a fan of Qdoba, so on a recent trip to Fort Wayne we needed an afternoon snack. Qdoba sounded good and we were, literally, 500 yards away.

I get the feeling this location hasn't been open long. It felt 'new' when we entered. The restaurant is very clean and tidy...it's also the smallest Qdoba I've ever seen. There is a total of 6 tables making for a maximum seating of 16 individuals.

Ordering is a breeze, as the "start your order here" is within 6 feet of the door. If you've been to Qdoba you know the routine. It's assemble-as-you-go. What I didn't expect was their Cholula Hot & Sweet Chicken. I figure, hey, I like Chicken and I like Cholula, I'm going to give it a try in a bowl. (This turned out to be a great choice)

The staff then assembles your order as you go down the line. Each staff member was helpful and informative along the way. It was also nice to see the staff clean the immediate prep area frequently.

Our food was delivered hot, accurate, and delicious. Gonna have to say the Cholula Hot & Sweet Chicken has become my favorite! My wife 100% LOVED the Chicken Tortilla Soup.

As soon as the crowd thinned the employees came out to clean tables, tidy up the drink area, and check on the restrooms.

I'm not sure how long this location has been open, but based on this visit they're doing everything right and we'll be back during our next visit.

The staff at this Qdoba are EXTRAORDINARY. My husband and I eat lunch here on work days. I am vegetarian, and I love the many food choices available. The staff noticed that I have been fighting cancer. Would you believe that when my hubby went to pick up our lunch today, the staff had made me a little pink gift basket? SO KIND! I am over 60 years old, and most of the staff are young people. I hear so much negativity about "young people"-- but these young people (and their slightly older managers) are amazing! They are careful to wash their hands, the store is clean, the price is reasonable and the food is YUMMY! I would love to learn their management techniques-- because I have never encountered a cross or unprofessional staff person there, and they are genuinely caring people. BRAVO TO QDOBA ON DUPONT!

I travel to Fort Wayne on business and was very happy to see that Qdoba was open at 8. I ordered a bowl with steak and fajita veggies. I noticed there were not many veggies left (I was hoping to get a double portion).

Instead of telling me that they didn't have any more, the young woman (with star tattoos on her hand)* asked if I would like to have fresh veggies instead...that it would only take 2 minutes. That was DESPITE the fact that they had already started breaking down the kitchen to clean.

She made the veggies fresh, built a beautiful steak veggie bowl for me - and all with excellent service! Her co-worker (older Hispanic woman)* also made excellent suggestions for some of the salsas I hadn't tried yet. This will be my go-to spot for a healthy dinner when I'm in town (which often).

*Adding descriptions because I forgot to ask for their names. If I was the owner, I'd be proud of them 😊

This is a new Qdoba. It is nicely layed out, but a bit smaller than the one off of Coliseum. The service was great and the food was very good. The facility was clean and neat. It was a good lunch.

Probably the best restaurant I’ve ever ate at. The employee are so kind! 5 stars!

I walked in earlier around 3ish today with my husband and the service was honestly spectacular! There were some teenage girls that were very respectful! They gave great service and helped me out with what everything was (this being my second visit) They were very reassuring and spoke to me with kindness and told me to have a great day! 10/10 service and great food! (the steak is highly recommended) haha, Thanks Qdoba!

I expected it to taste like most other Mexican chains, but WOW this food has some awesome flavors! The queso, chips, and custom bowl w/ ground beef were delicious!

Placed a large online order. When I arrived, it was hot, ready, and all there. I know that this is a new location so there is usually a learning curve. I was impressed. Great food too. The chicken seasoning is on point!

The chicken queso bowl is delicious. Fresh ingredients and very friendly staff. Glad I stopped in!

I have never had a bad meal. Love that I don't get nicked and dime for toppings we should be on the dish! Don't change it, love it!

We have been to this location many times. The food is always good. Latest visit was on a busy night and the employees were pleasant and doing their best.

Always on time and the quality and service is great! Got a bad rap when they first opened which was was not the staff's fault. Great place to eat.

Got the Nachos tonight, and they were GREAT! The chicken was tender and tasty, and the Pico and Salsa were perfectly spicy!

I’ve been here half a dozen times so far and have no complaint. Everyone has been friendly, every time I’m like “damn this is good”. If I had a complaint, it’d be that I can’t get anything done when I get home cause I’m so full.

Was pretty good and staff was nice. Allowed me to try different meats and was great. I would go back
