Off The Trails Vacation Rentals is an amazing place with beautiful cabins, great campground and easy trail access. This was our second time staying at badlands and it seems to get better each time we go. We took our camper the first year and then stayed in the Dead end cabin this year. Campground was great and spacious but the cabin was amazing!!! The best part was the staff, very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. This will be a yearly trek for us.

It was my First time staying at off the trail and I was super happy with the convenience of the camping spot and the Nice and Clean shower house and bathroom area
close and easy access to the riding park they have a convenient place to wash off the ATVs right in the front

There were no rooms unless you rented a cabin. This is a campground that offers cabins, RV, and rustic campsites. We elected to purchase a rustic site and sleep in our enclosed trailer. We chose a site within a close walk to the shower and bathrooms. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We will be back someday. It was super convenient being able to ride your machines to the riding park, parts and service center as well.

My roommate and I rented a rustic camp site to attend axialfest 2023. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The bathhouses were clean and well kept. It was easy to navigate and town was just 6 min away. The only complaints were the lack of shade and the dust. Those were minor inconveniences and we enjoyed our time there immensely.

Had a great time! Cabin was clean, quiet, great location. Enjoyed the fire pit out back. Beautiful setting. Shared Winched Inn with friends. We even booked a cabin for ourselves in October. Can't wait to visit again!!!

We had a little hiccup with the reservation our first night. But Renae and Vicki took great care of us! Our little cabin was perfect and the pricing was reasonable. Great service and help. Will stay again next time we come to Badlands.

The cabin was way nicer than we expected! It's so much easier to stay and ride and not have to rush to pack up and leave. We also found a huge owl during our extended hours ride !

We have stayed here on two weekend trips. It was a nice campground. We had a full hook up site both time and they were nice and flat pull through sites. The bath house is nice after a day of getting muddy in the park. The evening's were nice they are really good at keeping quiet time rules. It is also close to town which is convenient.

We celebrated our family vacation here (Summer 2022) and loved it! Myself, husband and 10 year old son rented the Sunny Daze house. It was so clean and cozy. There was a shuffleboard table in the house that everyone enjoyed. Kitchen utensils, extra linen, patio seating, fire ring, and great air conditioning made our stay perfect! Check in was easy. Parking was convenient. Staff was friendly. Having drivable access to The Badlands Park is the cherry on this sweet sundae 🍨 We are planning another trip with friends!

Update went back again this place is amazing. If you get the chance to meet Vicky she is an amazing person who truly cares and you will see that is true. We had an issue where we had to leave and come back and lost a full day she did everything she could do to make the stay better even though it was an issue back home. She did it all with a smiley. There is only one issue I have I have Badlands stickers, but off the trail doesn't have any. Please remedy this problem I need one next to the Badlands stickers on all my vehicles.

It is amazing I never give 5 stars because something could always be better but here and badlands truly deserve it. The manager truly cares about the people and the sites. We are disabled and have trouble walking. This is the gold standard when it comes to being able to get around the facilities.

We will definitely be back. Very nice campground with new shower and restroom facilities. Very nice primitive section. Full hook-up lots are pretty flat/level. Some driving lanes need regraveled as there are a lot of pot holes. Just pick a cleaner lane to head down if you can.
There is little to no shade, if that is important to you. One premium section has some smaller trees.

The camper sites are large and the property is kept very clean. Staff is friendly.

Basic but clean, cabin motif. Open concept living space with one or more bedrooms. Great for a family or group of friends who want to spend their evenings together without the hassle of multiple hotel rooms. The smaller villas have kitchenettes while the larger ones have full kitchens.
Can be difficult to find in the dark, so pay careful attention to your GPS. 10am checkout arrives more quickly than you expect.
Conveniently close to the Badlands for off-road enthusiasts, but far enough away that the noise was unnoticeable for non-devotees.

I like the hookups for campers. Still need a lot of grass to grow in but the straw helped a lot. Not a lot of trees around so the gusts of wind are strong. Make sure your tent is staked down well. Office people were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the trip and long weekend.

Excellent location relative to Badlands and the accommodations were incredible. Very new, clean and well taken care of. Will be back.

This place is pretty great. Me and my 3 buddies stayed here while running our machines at the badlands. Ended up getting two attached sites. Bathrooms and showers were plenty good. Will be back again.

Our cabin was up to date, clean and cozy. Staff always friendly and courteous. We love wheeling at Badlands.

Made my experience at the Badlands that much better. Clean bathrooms. Nice size showers with hot water. I stayed in the new primitive camping and loved it. Large spots. Campfire rings.
Campground is on same entrance to the badlands park.
