Absolutely delicious food. Best chicken lo mein I’ve ever had. I get it all the time because I just can’t help myself if I’m hungry and willing to drive. All the other food I’ve had here is great too. It’s also very consistent, it doesn’t feel different every time I get it, so they’ve got their recipes down to a T. Service is great too. The guy that works the counter is straight to the point and makes the interaction quick, which I love. Only reason the atmosphere is lower is because the place is still “quarantined up” so you can’t go far in and there’s a large ugly glass box with wood frames inside the door. But I can’t really blame them as the pandemic is still an ongoing issue. 10/10 would recommend here for takeout. Unfortunately they don’t do delivery outside of DoorDash and such, which is not worth the mark up in prices to me. But it’s only a 2 minute drive from my house so it is no issue to me.

Rating them a five for their accommodations alone. It is super hard navigating a new wheat allergy and because most soy sauce is made of wheat, I have to forego most Chinese food which sucks because it’s one of my most favorite cuisines. I had to call the restaurant before placing an order and they graciously answered my questions on what was fried with cornstarch vs batter. Just as I was about to place an order for General Tso, I realized it had soy sauce in it and put in a special request. They were kind enough to call and explain and let me know what they could do instead. Thank you so, so much! I can finally have good Chinese food again without worry. This is the kind of service that creates repeat customers. 🙂

This has been my favorite place since I was a kid, they have always had my favorite chicken fried rice, and their egg rolls are the best. I love the General Tso from here as well.

Cant speak for anyone else but I had the chicken lo mein and pork fried dumplings. The dumplings are huge and some of the best I have had. The lo mein and rice was good, i did need to add sauce though because it didnt have a ton of flavor, but still something I would order again. I'd go back for the dumplings alone.

Amazing food. Loved the hot and sour soup. Boneless bbq ribs were tasty and tender.

Happy garden will never let you down. It is exactly what it looks like and exactly what it’s supposed to be.

Just tried this place for the first time today! Excellent food! Friendly staff...and even though no dine in, she had the inside shining!! Best sesame chicken I've had in awhile! Good size portion for a decent price! I definitely be a repeat customer!!

Picked up an order from Happy Garden last night. The staff are the most patient and friendly people you could imagine. A VERY disrespectful customer was screaming at this poor woman while they were clearly very busy completing orders and the worker handled it like a saint. Great food and great service 5*

This place knows how to perfectly prepare chow mei fun! It’s my fave and I am so happy I can get it here.

Good food, nice family run restaurant. We've been eating here over a decade. It's a small restaurant, so we usually just carry-out or of course get delivery. They're always super friendly AND if someone before you didn't pick up their food, you get deals!

Hands down, the best chinese take out on the east side! These guys give you quality and quantity all under one roof! Fast, friendly service and food is always piping hot when delivered! Be prepared to be stuffed! I won't order from anyone else! Absolutely love Happy Garden!

I called for a delivery. The woman on the phone was so nice and pleasant. She held the phone while I was at work and helped me. The delivery man was so nice to my mother. The food was hot and delicious! I will be back!

Everything about this place is great! They delivered when they said they would, and were the only one who would even deliver to me. Their food is FANTASTIC, and they gave me a plate, napkins, silverware, and two fortune cookies with my meal. One of the best tasting Chinese restaurants I've encountered with the best service, by far!

Here's the thing...Once you eat at Happy Garden, no other Chinese restaurant in Indy will taste up to par. Happy Garden is fabulous. I've been going there for 5 years. Whenever I want Chinese food I drive a half hour and pass by ten other Chinese places because I know they won't let me down.

This place is honestly underrated. Tell your friends and family to eat here. It's very good and the customer service is great. The hygene of the place is good as well. I got my food fast and was treated nicely 😋

Their food is always delicious! It's just a small neighborhood Chinese restaurant, but they serve great dishes. You got to try it!

This is a Chinese restaurant located in Lindwood Square right on 10th street. And I love there food it's always piping hot and the way they do Szechuan is to die for . All your food is made to order unless u phone it in. If you enjoy some Hot'N'Fresh Asian cuisine then give Happy Garden a try

Been getting take out from this place for nearly a decade. Fast, friendly. They recognize me from my orders. Always good to support local, small businesses. I highly recommend this place for quick take out!

My favorite chinese take out of all times. I will not order take out chinese from anywhere else other than here. For the past 9 years they have never failed me. Good food, good service, happy customer, happy garden 💜
