They are very efficient and proactive. Worked very well with us having animals and kids. The staff is very trustworthy, feel comfortable letting them in house when not home.

Great company now that it is under new ownership.

Good service and great people

I am a fully licensed pest control applicator, I worked for Fortner for a year. Fortner has a high turnover of employees, the employees are often minimally trained, and there is no pre-employment or random drug testing policy to protect customers. Fortner applicators often miss customer appointments especially for termite inspection. I had customers that had gone 2-3 years without an inspection, they often thought the company was out of business. While the supervisor, Cody, is dedicated to giving customers the best service possible, the obstacles in place due to the owners, the Lucas family, often cause Cody to fall short of his customer service goals. When I started the company was unable to purchase chemicals and products needed to provide service due to gross mismanagement by the owner. The owners refuse to use new products or techniques proven to give better results in treatment of many pests including bedbugs. These decisions force application of higher volumes of toxic pesticides than would be required by newer products. Multiple applications of old pesticides are required and often the results are unsatisfactory due to resistance built up against these products. I would not recommend Fortner Pest Control they are often the cheapest even then you rarely get what you are paying for.

When we bought our home, 8 years ago, the former owners picked Fortner to termite our home as part of the sales agreement. We were given a written promise in the contract that they would call and schedule an yearly appointment for an inspection in May. They have never called us ! Each year, we have to call them and they make excuses not to come to our town to fulfill that warranty obligation. They had no problem coming and doing the initial job for $1500.00 however they are not good about doing the yearly inspection for $100. The price has now raised to $140.00. It takes 4 or 5 times scheduling it and rescheduling because they have a big turnover with staff. They cancel for various reasons and never call back then I have to hound them again. It has now creeped up to September and our yearly May inspection has not been done! I would never recommend them. There warranty is only as good as the yearly inspections and now we are considering paying for another company to inspect it because we are concerned that they may not be doing a good inspection.

It was like talking to a high pressure salesman selling a used car they took something simple and turned it into a horrible disaster and if I didn't pay $1,800 right away then I would have my whole house infested I will never talk to recommend or even consider these crooks

Constantly misses appointments, then charges for those missed appointments. Horrible to deal with, wont return calls, voicemail box full so you can't leave messages.

I've tried several times to have someone spray my house but can never get an an answer I have a contract with you
