1000° Wood Fired Pizza

Great pizza with great flavor, the Hawaiian was amazing and they did a pretty pretty decent job and the Detroit style. Being from Detroit myself, it's almost right but needs some tweaking. Detroit style pizza in my opinion should be cooked slower and not rushed with too hot of an oven.

I wish they had beer or wine on the menu, I could have really used a cold beer today!

The atmosphere is really cool. The decor is fun and good to look at. A very cozy place.

The service is minimal, you order at the counter, get your own drinks, etc. They do bring the pizza out to you when ready.

What a nice place. When we pulled up, the place was packed! Found the last parking spot. Went in, and an atmosphere was decorated with memorabilia of cars and anything associated with plus!
We ordered the brisket BBQ sandwich and supreme pizza. We loved them both.
You can order your pizza with or without char on the crust. We got ours with. Thats what they are known for with a wood fired oven.
I can only add that this place has a lot of charm, and everyone was really nice. Try them out.
I'm still on my quest to find the unusual and iconic pizza restaurants and anything that deserves attention.

The taco pizza 🍕 is AMAZBALLS!! SOOOO YUMMY!! I can't recommend it enough! The cheeseburger pizza is a close second!! The service is wonderful!! They are soooo friendly! If you find yourself outside Muncie, in Mt. Summit, this place is a must stop! You won't regret it! Get the taco pizza!

Hands down, my favorite pizza place. We drive an hour to get there. The carnivore pizza is fantastic, and the ribs are amazing. Bread sticks are awesome! Love the decor and atmosphere!

This place is awesome. The staff is so friendly and speedy. Enjoyed the food and decorations. Will be returning. Worth a long drive to enjoy this place.

Loved the whole place with all the nostalgic fixtures, signs, etc. Saturday with no waiting was a surprise. Orders arrived at our tables in less than 15 minutes. Food was awesome. Order naked wings with sauce on the side…. Only used it for the first wing and plain the rest plain….Very good! Order brisket sandwich without the bread. Bread looked very good on the take out order for someone special to us. Just a nice place…. Pizza looked amazing too.

Once again this place passes with all flying colors. Went in on the hottest days of the year and the fire was going to bake those delicious pizza pies! Even tho the employees were sweating so bad they had a upbeat personality! The pizza bake to perfection. The things to look at inside so COOL!

Great atmosphere, solid pizza at a good price. Hope I'm back in the area again, just a few minutes from Summit Lake State Park

The atmosphere is So much fun. Ribs were amazing. The pizza was fine. Berry cheesecake was very good, bit on the sour side though.

We went to 1000° Wood Fired Pizza after a day of tattooing at Underdogs Tattoo Gallery in New Castle. It was my birthday weekend and I had wanted to go for a long time. The atmosphere is amazing. Lots too look at. The pizza was very good. The cheese bread 🤌 and I took a slice of Carrot cake home...it was incredible! The employees were all so helpful and nice. We are definitely going back next time we are up that way.

The food is absolutely amazing! This isn't your average pizza joint. The staff is always great, and the atmosphere makes you want to gather here and stay a little longer 😁

Very fun place to go makes an awesome destination location. Everything is made when you order it so give yourself a little time to enjoy all of the eclectic items around the dining area. Great destination spot for bikes and jeeps plenty of parking across the street.

This place was great. 4 of us came from a few hours south after seeing the news report. Loved most everything we had. The Detroit style was on point and the red sauce was delicious. Pulled pork and pulled chicken where great. The wings were perfectly smoked and the hot sauce was fire. BBQ sauce was sweet but not offensively so. Breadsticks were amazingly soft and buttery. Only complaint was the brisket was pretty fatty; which is great for some but not our cup of tea. Will be returning for more great food.

The location (while kind of in the middle of nowhere) is super unique and fun. The decoration are fun, and the place is easily accessible.

The pizza is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The crust has a great crunch, all the way through, but still has a nice chew to it. The cheese has great pull and texture. The sauce is perfect, and not overly acidic. Love the flavor you get out of the wood fired oven. Can't wait to try it again!

This is a throwback gem hidden in My Summit, IN. What a surprise! This place packs all the nuances of a 1930’s diner & swap shop. All the unique antiques make this wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The service is ALWAYS A-1 thanks to Tracy! Food is damn good. The Bbq chicken pie was spot on and I had to try a slab of ribs. Mmm, Mmm,really unique flavor! You’ll be shocked at what you can find in the nooks and crannies of Corn country. Check em out when you pass through. You won’t regret it. As always,

Very good company what started it out as a poor experience turned into a magnificent one they had made a mistake with our order corrected it by giving us an additional pizza and breadsticks. They are great food great atmosphere must visit if you’re in town.

Very eclectic and nostalgic decor. There is so much to see and bring back memories. The BBQ was amazing, tender, and juicy . Really enjoyed myself, I was passing through and saw the unique place, made a decision to give it a try...glad I did!!

Great food. The service was awesome, busy but awesome. The atmosphere was neat, all kinds of older things to look at. Has a small arcade in the back. Check out the pictures.

This place is a good 3 hr drive for me, and it is well worth it. The food is very good. Some of the best pizza I have ever had. The wings were fantastic. And the service was the best. My wife and I spent a great afternoon here and will be making the drive again to this wonderful place!
