It's a covered bridge. It's way out in the country. I drive past it every day and it's always there. Be careful it's one lane and you can't see to well pulling off it into traffic

Proposed to the love of my life at this bridge. I had "car trouble" and pulled over to the shoulder, then went around to the passenger side wheel. I had the ring in my tire repair kit. So, yes, this is one of my favorite covered bridges.

Also: Thanks to the friendly local who tried to offer help, but I waved on.

Snow Hill Christmas lights are an amazing light set up for a little town, that the owners of the property next to the covered bridge do on their own!! plus get to go over a historic covered bridge (to see the lights)where there isn't to many of them left in the world

One of the better light displays in the city. We look forward to this every year. The animals were a hit with my boys this year.

Snow Hill Covered Bridge was built in 1895 over Johnson’s Fork Creek by John H. Horn and William H. Butts. The Howe truss was designed by John Barkhart. The builders and designer lived locally. The single span Bridge has field-stone and creek-stone abutments and wingwalls. The lower chord is reinforced with X-frames. The Snow Hill Covered Bridge has steel rods in the Howe truss panels and iron bolts throughout the structure.

Snow Hill Covered Bridge is named by a Revolutionary War hero, Lemuel Snow. The Bridge was restored in 1987 with a new roof, decking and additional supporting lumber. The latest restoration project was done in 2000. Snow Hill Covered Bridge is open to traffic, well used and continues to be maintained by Franklin County.
