Love this place! Great menu choices, lovingly prepared.

Nice quiet hometown restaurant with a country type ambiance. Food is fresh, service was excellent. I enjoyed a chicken salad with cranberries and candied walnuts on a soft pita; my daughter had a cup of minestrone soup and half chicken salad on toast. The restaurant also offers a nice ice cream selection. Ended my meal with a double scoop of ice cream on a waffle cone.

Situated in and old ice cream parlor this place offers great food and service. The portions are large and cooked to perfection

A go-to lunch and dinner option for our family, Sweet Jenny's is as advertised - sweet as can be! While I always appreciate their atmosphere and food (especially with vegetarian options for vegheads like me), last night they went especially above and beyond. After mentioning that I am expecting, they were sweet enough to include a free ice cream and generous side of pickles for me! Thoughtfulness like that is missing from a lot of businesses these days, and the human touch meant so much to our family. Thank you!

The prices are awesome! Each breakfast was around $10, really like $9.95, I rounded up. It was homemade, real delicious cooking. I got the Benedict with sausage gravy.... Plate licking good!! Definitely will go back and I will tell everyone about this place. The building is historic, I think, it use to be the Hurricane House.

Stuff was super friendly. Came here for Father’s Day and it was a great experience. We had cheeseburgers and chicken cheesesteaks and topped it off with cookie dough sundaes.

But what we really liked about it was the wall of shame/the wall of fame. Where are you supposedly have to eat a 2 pound cheeseburger in less than 10 minutes. Fail? You end up on the wall of shame.

The food was very good and had generous portions that were hard to finish! Service was great and friendly. Nice atmosphere.

We were in a pinch . Needed a seating fir 8 on St. Pattys. Sweet Jennys said if you can get here in 10 min. We can sit you. I might say we needed to be out because of a dance recital time line. SJ. Is Quaint, always the best comfortable, accommodating place. The food of course was delicious as well.

Wow what a great hidden gem. We are new in town. We love the casual environment with great food. Family friendly. And the ICE CREAM wow can’t wait to have another scoop or two. Well worth the trip.

I went the day before Valentine's day and the place was very cutely decorated for the occasion. I absolutely love the booths; They feel private even though it's really not. Food and service were good. Definitely a cute place to try!

delish!!! Great Wednesday night all you can eat pasta extravaganza 17 to 18 dollars for I gigantic portion. Never been able to get to the all you can eat part because barely can finish the first portion. Phenomenal soups and great ice cream. Monday’s have discount dinners for 10 dollars and that even comes with soup or salad and rolls. And a scoop of ice cream. Great place!!!!!!

I seldom enjoy eating out, but...Sweet Jenny’s in Barnegat, NJ is a simply lovely, intimate joyful place to enjoy delicious wholesome food in an unhurried serene, and aesthetically pleasing place with a caring compassionate staff.

Want to go down memory lane? Decor is very cozy - soda fountain part has original swiveling stools and dining area has booths and tables. The food is really very good! As for the service: I ordered a custom made banana split– not like the one in the menu and it was perfectly delivered with all the details! Now THAT is service! Located right in the old town of Barnegat, there is sufficient parking in the surrounding local area. Family oriented–kids welcomed. Eat in or take out.🙂

We had Sweet Jenny’s cater our morning after wedding breakfast today and it was fantastic!!!! From placing the order through to the on time delivery, it was perfect. Every staff member was more polite than the last, and the food (and amount of food) was impeccable!!! You never know with breakfast if it will be “enough” but it was more than “enough”!!!

Sweet Jennys is my favorite place to go. The chef and owner make you feel like family. On wensdays there is an all you can eat pasta night that is just spectacular. Their burgers are juicy and quite good. I highly suggest a visit.

Great food great people, the prices are reasonable for what you get, portions are generous. The place is clean and has a historic charm to the place. We love Sweet Jenny's, our server Alexa always is very welcoming and gives us great service. See you next year and good job from your Canadian customers.

Everything was amazing. To my absolute shock they even had no sugar added milkshakes.
