Y&Y Massage Spa

The store is brand new and spotless. My muscle was achy and sore. Wendy gave me a one-hour massage. I like to go to the gym every day, so I'll be seeing her once a week. Wendy, thank you.

New spa in the Toms River area, big and very welcoming. Walked in and was met by a friendly happy lady. She said the other lady was working but she would be happy to give me a massage. I don't think I've ever been in a spa so clean. Wendy gave me a great rub down, covering all the right places. I asked her spend a little more time on my legs as they really hurt from all the driving I've been doing these last few months. Felt refreshed and ready to take on the world after the massage.

I am not satisfied at all with the experience I had when I booked a one-hour massage. I entered the building and thought it looked like a normal massage spa. I did not notice anything contrary to what I would expect until the massage began. I had a female massage therapist because I preferred one. I was entirely shocked when as she moved to my abdomen region, she asked "Baby?" with a casual smile. I was taken aback because a pregnant woman's belly had a distinct appearance, and I only weighed one hundred twenty pounds. I did not have the universally recognized protrusion. The massage therapist made things much more awkward than they had to be for the duration of the massage. I was not relaxed or rejuvenated at all. Unbelievably, it was unbearable from start to finish. As I was being checked out, she said "tip" as if she was demanding one. I know at times businesses will have jars and prefer for you to tip cash because point-of-sale systems can make it difficult for equal distribution, but the declaratory tone of the massage therapist was beyond. I don't understand why she thought she deserved a tip when I did not feel welcome for one minute of my massage. I have never seen a person so pretentious and arrogant claim to be a professional. It was very plain to see that I was unhappy, and wanted to go about my way as I already had put my card away. I will not ever go back there again.

Worst massage ever. She was only one there constantly in and out of room to answer the door. Even took phone calls. Zero effort into the massage. Do yourself a favor and don't go there
