My Penn230 had a bent worm gear, took it to local shop 3 years ago and was told they couldn't get parts, pretty much trash. Came across Mystic Parts when looking for drag washer for my 209s. They had the Penn 230 parts with schematics of the reel. Fixed in less than an hour and for less $ than the shop cost to tell me it was unfixable. Very satisfied customer.

I ordered more carbon drag washers for yet another squidder restoration project (# 8 so far) and just received the parts in 2 days and I am amazed. Now I can complete my project.
I love that you use wadded newspaper as an an economical and environmentally friendly packing product but I'm requesting that the shipping department, when packing, that they include a front page, a society page, a classified page, and the local weather page of the local paper. I don't want the big city paper but the small town biweekly. I love sitting here in my shop in South Florida reading the local paper from half way around the country while I restore vintage Penn reels. Thanks.

Amazing I was able to find the exact part that I needed for my reel.( penn fierce III 8000) that I couldn’t find anywhere else. I ordered the part on Friday and on Monday afternoon the part was already at my house. Great service and good quality part . Highly recommend this website. I have ordered from Mystic Reel Parts many times. They have always shipped my order quickly and correctly. Their prices are good, their selection is good, and I have always gotten what I needed. Most recently, I called and spoke with Scott about an idea I had to upgrade my Penn Pursuit III 6000 handle to a nicer one. From the website, it *looked* like I could use a Battle 5000 handle. Scott wasn't sure, so he took my name and number and tracked down the parts and attempted to put them together. While he didn't have a full Pursuit III 6000 to try it on, he took the time to find the handle and a PURIII6000 main gear. He confirmed that fit and told me to go ahead and order the handle, also telling me that I could return it if it didn't work. This is the kind of personal touch and customer service that will keep me coming back time and time and time again! Not only do they have parts available that no one else seems to have, but I *want* to buy from them to support such great folks! They have my business for life.

Ever since I placed my first order for Penn reel parts with Mystic Reel Parts LLC, I've had nothing but success getting exactly what I've needed. They have about everything you need to do repairs as well as downloadable schematics for each reel, this is a valuable resource for anyone that repairs their own reels. I ordered parts for a few older Penn Senators and upgraded to the Carbontex drag washers as well. These guys are awesome they got me everything I asked for and it arrived in a few days well packaged. I have used these guys for several years. They will be my only supplier for Penn replacements. My most recent orders went out on time and were organized in the shipping container as well as protected. I am amazed at how they can keep track of such small parts.

An example of their attention to detail and how they serve the customer; I ordered a few parts and paid for the shipping. Several minutes later I realized I need additional parts. I placed that order and paid for shipping. I had considered canceling the original order and placing an entirely new order but I thought that my be too much of a pain. Well, these guys realized what I had done, combined the orders into one, removed one of the shipping charges, and all without asking!

I placed an order for a Penn spinning reel gear. The part was reasonably priced and arrived quickly. I soon learned after receiving the gear, that I would need the cross-wind gear as well. I hastily placed the order without looking to see if anything else needed replacing. Well, I found out I needed one addition part. I called Mystic Reels the next morning and spoke with a gentleman who was very professional. Even though my order was already boxed up and ready to ship, he was able to add the part for me so that I would not have to pay additional shipping. That is great customer service. Mystic Parts will definitely get all of my reel repair business.

I was able to get exactly the parts I needed to repair my Penn Captiva CV6000. I received the parts quickly and the cost was very reasonable! I'm very pleased with the whole experience, as I initially thought that reel was a lost cause!
