Velo Cafe

Loved this place we went twice in a row during our stay in Margate (next town over). The food was excellent - the seasoning in the fried chicken sandwich was among the best I've ever had. The food was all excellent and the service was nice and prompt. I'm not in this area often but I will be sure to come back next time I am. Keep doing everything right!

We had a wonderful experience at Velo Cafe today! As a party of 7 we were still able to be seated with only a short wait. The cafe is quaint and very nicely decorated and a nice atmosphere. Our server Trinity and all of the staff were so kind and attentive. Our food came out fast and everyone loved their meal. We were celebrating a birthday and they allowed us to bring in a cake. We will make this a regular stop when we visit from now on. Thank you Velo Cafe!

As fate would have it, we stumbled upon this spot and were surprised to find a bustling crowd with a 40-minute wait. Despite the delay, I must say it was well worth it, as I had one of the best brunch experiences in a long time.

As I savored every bite, I couldn't help but wish that this gem of a spot was located closer to my home. Alas, it wasn't, but I made a mental note to make a return trip to Atlantic City and indulge in their delicious brunch once again. The service was prompt and friendly.

All in all, I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Atlantic City or looking for an exceptional brunch experience. It may require a bit of a wait, but trust me, it's well worth it.

Salads were exceptional—large portions with a variorum fresh ingredients. We had the Balkan and the Vegan-both good healthy choices. Traditional breakfast choices are also tasty and filling. We tried them too. Yes, the place is a little small but it has a great corner location in walkable downtown Ventnor. Enjoy. We are definitely coming back!!

Great food and service. Everything on the menu is good. It’s also BYOB for mimosas ;). They do close at 2pm though :/

This restaurant is so charming and cute! Plenty of outdoor seating as well as very comfortable indoor seating. Mabel was our server and she was the sweetest! She helped recommend dishes we could get and she did not steer us wrong. The crab meat Benedict had lots of crab and was so delicious, the chicken and waffles was crispy and you can get it with hot honey. Would love to visit this place again.

Absolute perfection from the perfectly tender and well-seasoned octopus appetizer, to the crispy-skinned samurai salmon and short ribs. We barely left room for dessert, but thank God we did because the warm and moist apple cake took the…cake.
Excellent service by Nicole, and lovely ambiance. 10/10, will be returning for sure.

Super cute place! We decided to stop in for a quick lunch on a Wednesday, and the service was super fast, the prices are not bad either. We ordered a chicken, bacon and avocado wrap, and it was delicious. The waffle fries are my new favorite 😍 would definitely recommend!

Excellent chicken and waffles as always! The chicken was crispy, had the right amount of crunch with a hint of salt that really elevates the flavor. The service here is always great and the food is incredible. If you’ve never been, you need to visit! It’s very reasonably priced for the quality food that you get.

One of the best restaurants i have ever been too. I have been coming to Velo for breakfast religiously for years, but tonight I finally got the opportunity to come for dinner!
1. the food is outstanding. I had the Lobster Ravioli and my partner had the Blackend Tuna. Let me just tell you that we didn't even come up for a breath! We devoured our entrees.
2. the chef came out to ask about our meals and he was more than pleasant! He was very personable and interested in our feedback. An AMAZING guy
3. towards the end of our meal the owner came up to our table and made sure that everything was up to par and that we enjoyed our meal and i can say with 100% certainty that everything was fabulous. From service to food i can not recommend this place enough!

Very nice place for breakfast, brunch, lunch... good selection of food and everything we had was really good. Servers are very friendly and helpful. We had this combo to share and it was more than enough for two of us, we could not finish it.
They also have very good espresso.
If you get a chance definitely check this place out.

Today was my first experience here and let me just say it is a place worth checking out. Not only was the food delicious (Nutella pancakes) but my waitress Mabel made it the best experience. She got to know me, explained her favorites and made me feel very welcome. I would 100% come back again and ask for Mabel she’s the best!!😊

I LOVE BRUNCH and this place delivered the best flavors to wake up your taste buds. Our waitress’s recommendations was on point. The Chicken and Waffles was crispy, hot, and fresh! Our Egg’s Benedict was delicious. The classic neighborhood spot.

Enjoyed the brunch a lot, especially my Shot Rib Benedict. Very nice and stylish interior. All tables were decorated with the vases with live flowers👌

My absolute favorite breakfast spot in the city! I have never had a bad experience here, service is always so kind, the staff is so lovely. But the FOOD!!! 👌🏼 Get yourself a group of your lady friends, breakfast date or family brunch… can’t go wrong with the stuffed French toast, they are my current favorite. Shout-out to our wonderful server Mabel!

Hidden Gem. The breakfast menu has many great options, and the food is delicious.

This is hands-down one of the best places to eat at the shore. The staff is great and the food is INSANE! Whether you’re looking for brunch or dinner, Velo is the place to do it. Sal, the chef is a culinary creative genius - just look at these photos! The Fried mozzarella & Tuna Tartare are favorites, but honestly everything on the menu is delicious and the specials are even better. We live in the neighborhood and are always blown away that there’s a place like this within walking distance. Bring a bottle of Asti for Sunday mid-morning mimosas, or a couple bottles of wine and your friends for dinner. Amazing!!

Excellent food. Was definitely worth coming out of the casino district area to this great restaurant. It is “Bring your own bottle” but we came for breakfast so we are definitely looking forward to coming back to try their dinner. Had a iced cappuccino with gluten free eggs Benedict. My partner had the arriz con pollo but had me sample some of the food bc he was so impressed. All the good was finger licking good; really happy i chose this place to come with friends for breakfast. Super great service, fresh ingredients make great food!

Second day now in a row here we tried different dishes. Stuffed french toast is out of this world amazing if your ok with having something mildly sweet for breakfast. The lemoncillo cream crepe was quite good too but probably wouldn’t fill a big appetite. The chicken and waffles were ok though somehow i felt like there was no chemistry between those two ingredients. In my opinion it would be better if it had been served instead of with maple syrup; rather with hollandaise sauce and made to taste comparatively to a hot chicken sandwich. Otherwise it was ok but there are better things on the menu i would chose next time. Thanks again. :)

Wonder Sunday breakfast "al fresco" at Velo Cafe in Ventnor NJ. The food was delicious and innovative. And the service was superb especially our server Mable who was attentive and wonderful!

The fried chicken and waffles is incredibly delicious! The fried chicken has great flavor and is nicely seasoned! It is served with a side of maple syrup which is great for the waffles, but I also recommend requesting a side of sriracha honey syrup to dip the friend chicken in! Service and hospitality was wonderful, and the caramel latte with oat milk was delicious!
