Recently, we hosted our employee appreciation and staff gathering at Freddy J’s Bar & Kitchen, and it turned out to be an absolute success, all thanks to Sugar Hill Subs. They prepared an exquisite hot and cold tray, brimming with favorites like traditional cheesesteaks, Italian subs, and the extraordinary Pesto Stepho with its incredibly fresh mutz – a personal favorite!

Their commitment to quality and flavorful delights was evident, elevating our event to a whole new level. A huge shoutout to Sugar Hill Subs for their exceptional service and for playing a significant role in celebrating our wonderful team.

I gotta load this place up with a review. Slammin sandwich, and really friendly service. After working in the meat/deli business for years, I have to say that I was impressed. I got the Italian stallion with sweet peppers and pickles. It was a great sandwich.

If the sandwich wasn’t as good as it was, I would’ve given 4 stars because they call HOAGIES, subs…..

I will definitely be back to try the breakfast menu.

OMG. I have lived in the Philly area for decades and had great Italian "hoagies" in the past. Came down to visit family in the area and stopped in Sugar Hill to pick up some lunch. THE BEST Italian Sub I ever had! Loads of meat and cheese and the roll was authentic. People were friendly and the place was spotless!

Every time I go here I just smile the one guy in here with the bald head and glasses always make you feel like you belong he has great people skills and has real hospitality he let me try the chili and I just bought a bowl it was so good! and the cheese steaks is always a one hundred out of ten always good ! highly Recommended every time

I've been hearing about this place since I moved to the area back in December. We finally placed an order to go and I'm very happy to say that they truly do not disappoint.

My bestie ordered the Italian Stallian. I had the chef cut ham and cheese. The measure of any good sub starts with the bread. The seeded roll was excellent, both a crisp exterior with a nice chewy inside. All of the meats and cheeses were freshly sliced and very generous in quantity. Hands down, the most delicious tomato I've ever had on a sandwich.

We can't wait to come back and try a steak sandwich next time. Wish I could give you 5 ***** !

So good! I had the Italian Stallion, light on the onions, with a pickle on the side and it was awesome! It's got a good selection of food and drink, and some really neat decor if you look around. My friend, and my boyfriend both got the Rueben and loved it.

The BEST cheesesteaks!!!! Have been going here for years. Whenever I drive by it smells so good it makes me want to stop in. Great staff. Great food. Great place. Highly recommend!!

The Sugar Hill Sub Shop in Mays Landing NJ is arguably one of the best Sub Shops for 100 miles in every direction. This unassuming shop offers high quality Boar’s Head, fresh hoagie rolls and an impressive collection of both traditional and updated toppings.

After years of driving past the Sugar Hill Sub Shop on our way home from the beach curiosity got the best of us, this past Sunday afternoon and we stopped at the Sugar Hill Sub Shop. Our curiosity was well rewarded when we pulled off the road into the spacious parking lot. Don’t be thrown off by their use of the word, “Sub”, you are entering an authentic Philadelphia style Hoagie Shop complete with a pickle barrel!

This is a fresh, bright and clean deli with an awesome selection of hard to find sodas. Hoagies are available as a whole or a half. The half is a solid meal by itself. We decided to share a half. I cannot recommend strongly enough to take the back roads home from the shore, pull off the road and treat yourself to a Sugar Hill Sub, (Hoagie), Shop.

Fast, friendly service and delicious chicken cheesesteak with a side seafood salad. I'm recommending Sugar Hill to everyone I know visiting the area!

Sugar Hill Sub Shop and Deli, Mays Landing NJ. Very good cheesesteak. You get to choose your own roll. I stuck with the; when in Mays Landing do what the Mays Landing’ians do and got the Atlantic City roll. I am very interested to have this cheesesteak on a sesame seed roll and no lettuce and tomato. The meat tasted very good and there was a decent amount but I think the lettuce and tomato on the bottom pushed it up gave the illusion of more meat than there actually was. I disagree with Dan and think it needed an extra slice of cheese and a better melt/mix with the meat for it to be a great cheesesteak. Very nice place and people. Steady flow of customers so everything's fresh.

It's definitely a place to stop and get a sub if your in the area , you won't be disappointed. A must if your heading to the beach ⛱

Grandparents use to make a pit stop here off the parkway to grab food as we were driving down from Philly to our house in the villas. Place definitely hit me in the feels when I stopped in with my family. Food is still top notch!

Food is always amazing. We planned on this for Father's day and the placed was packed but the dude behind the counter with the Super Dad shirt on was a beast and super compatible with the customers. He handled the crowd like a champ. I highly recommend this place and if the place is packed it'll move quick

Stopped in for lunch, and ordered on-site. Staff is very friendly, and service was quick even with at the peak of the lunch hour. Food is fantastic as always. Best in the area. Would recommend everyone take a trip to Sugar Hill if you're in the area.

Great customer service, delicious sub, I ordered the veggie with cheese. The place reminded me of a bodega which I appreciated. Their peanut butter cookie with chocolate was very good! They also add the lettuce on the bottom so that you do not get a soggy bread, pure genius. I will visit again.
