Aviator Hotel & Suites South I-55, BW Signature Collection

I stayed here on 8/17 and 8/18. The staff is awesome. The room was clean. They gave me a really good rate. I checked in at 1:30 a.m. and they gave me a room instead of making me wait until 3:00 p.m. Jessica the night auditor is amazing. This hotel has the best staff from the new general manager to the house keepers. I definitely recommend it to everyone. Thanks James J

I really enjoyed in using this hotel and I am bummed and disappointed to say I will no longer stay here. I was a repeated customer because of a certain employee who showed excellent customer service and always made it her priority to serve each guest with care and compassion for her service and hotel. Unfortunately she was fired and there fore you have lost a guest and and excellent employee

Not a bad stay clean and nice room . Clean lobby great decor.
The breakfast was the best great waitstaff and lots of choices.

This hotel was minimal but was nice. We knew going in we weren't going to have a fridge or microwave. It's located close to a few stores. The breakfast was good and the lobby was beautiful. The beds were soft and I had no problems with the room at all.

Loved the aviation theme throughout the hotel! Basically an older Best Western Hotel but it is well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Attached restaurant continued the aviation theme and had some great food at very reasonable prices. And the beer was nice and cold!

I posted this over a year ago & noticed there were no views. So I'm guessing they have some way of removing poor reviews. So I'm giving it 5 stars instead of one so people actually get the opportunity to read this & save themselves a poor experience. Sorry it took me so long to realize this review wasn't getting any traction.

Unimpressive.

If you've read my handful of reviews you'll notice I'm an all or nothing reviewer.  I was going to give this place 3 stars but everyday there were multiple things to knock it back down to one.  I'm only going to give you about 20% of the reasons..we got 2 rooms, one for us & our girls & one for our son's family.  They were both the same price but one had no desk, no chairs, no fridge & no microwave.   We went back down & they gave us a different room.  There were a few more problems but we went downstairs & they resolved them.  Then I noticed there were 4 people in each of our rooms, but only 2 towels.  I didn't want to go downstairs again so I picked up the phone..it didn't work.  So I made the trip downstairs, again, to get more towels & soap.  Next day we went out, came back & house keeping had been in our room.  The beds weren't made, ok, our luggage was on it, I get it.  But they didn't replace the coffee pods & cups, & remember all those towels I made a special trip downstairs to get? Yup, they were gone, so was the extra soap. Half of them were still folded & clean on the counter, but we were back down to 2 towels & one bar of soap.  The staff is pretty nice, they did try to make things right, I was going to give them another star for that, until the next day.  We came back from our outing the next day & noticed there were desks outside of every room except ours.  We asked the maintenance gentleman in the hall way what was up & he said corporate wanted them taken out, nothing he could do.  Well there wasn't one outside our room so we figured they were going to let it go until we checked out tomorrow..nope.  we walk in our room to find all our belongings that we left on the desk on the floor, they took our desk out first! Really? They couldn't wait until we checked out?  They wouldn't make our beds because our stuff was on it but they had no problem touching our stuff to remove an amenity? Bloop, down a star.  The pub..were out of half the things they had on the food & cocktail menu.  I was going to give them an extra star for their German pretzel & beer cheese though.  It was amazing.   Went down the next day for another one..they're closed on Sunday. Bloop, back down to one star.  Remember, I only told you 20% of the issues.  If you took the time to read this entire review, do yourself a favor, take the time to find yourself another place to stay.

Stayed here overnight when I had to travel for a doctor appointment nearby. The manager texted beforehand to ask if they could do anything to make my stay great. I responded asking if extra coffee for my room could be available when I check in, and she did make sure of that! She was very friendly upon check-in, and gave me coupons for the hotel restaurant. So I decided to have dinner there.

The food (potato nachos and patty melt) were delicious and the service was good. My hotel room had a fridge and microwave, so I was able to take my leftovers and heat them up later.

Hotel was quiet, Room was clean, bed was comfortable, heat/AC worked well, and the shower had plenty of good hot water. I will keep this hotel on my list of ones I will stay at again!

Brought a team of high schoolers for five nights. The staff was great and the location was great for our tourney. Disappointing that the pool was down for repairs (without any notice) and that the pub is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Our family needed 3 rooms to schedule family members for two days in St. Louis... We liked the overall facilities. We could tell there were not enough staff to keep pool towels stocked so we delt with it. They had good breakfast and also had a restaurant in the facility that opened at 4pm for dinner time. We have six children with us who had a nice time visiting the Arch, Zoo , Science Museum and other places.

Nice hotel clean rooms comfortable beds. A little difficult to get to but nice place.The restaurant had amazing food.. delicious pulled pork and the gooey butter cake melted in your mouth!!

I booked this hotel about a month in advance, going by reviews alone, because my family and I was attending a concert and just wanted to get away for my husband's birthday. I will have to say I'm glad I did. The outside is very nice, and it is just as nice in the lobby. The staff member that checked me in was very nice, enthusiastic, and accommodating. The room I stayed in was very clean. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant the next morning. The food and the service was great. I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely stay here again!!

Centrally located in south county and less than 15 minutes from downtown, this location is both friendly and convenient for those looking to stay just outside the city. The staff are all friendly and professional, the rooms are updated and comfortable, and the hotel itself is super cool. I love all the aviation graphics and memorabilia surrounding the place. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family coming to visit.

Danni went out of their way to make sure our stay went as smoothly as possible! This is saying something, given they were hosting what looked like 3 weddings and 1 other event this weekend. Hotel was fully booked.
Location is surprisingly great, almost a straight-shot to Six Flags. A Krispy Kreme is right up the road.
Room was clean, the shower had good pressure and heat, a/c strong. No sounds from neighboring rooms. Only (slight)negative was that our view on the first floor was directly into the halls of the conference area that I assume wedding receptions were taking place in. Didn't see much, saw some people in dresses and suits a few times, but we mostly kept the curtains closed.
We'll definitely come back here!

Every staff member we encountered was fantastic. At check in Dev and Andy were both accommodating and Andy especially went above and beyond. During our stay we had a medical emergency in the middle of the night. The staff gave us a late check out (I wish I knew the overnight staff’s names) and were all aware of the situation and very courteous.

This hotel is extremely affordable for the level of accommodations. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub as well as outside deck were clean and enjoyable. There was a great gym.

We will never stay anywhere else in St. Louis.

I stay at this location often and i have absolutely ZERO complaints. The customer service is great, Especially Dani. She’s always so sweet and so great to talk to. The breakfast is amazing and the pool is always clean. I looove love love this hotel!!

Great hotel, very clean rooms, and awesome staff. The hotel has a great restaurant with it. The location is in a good place for most anything.

The Class of 1974 Lindbergh High School is having their 50 year Reunion here. Several of us went to a tasteing for our event
and it was delicious.

Great hotel. Large rooms, very quiet. Only issues is the road going into the hotel is in need of some repairs, but once on the property it's great. They also need to swap coffee companies, worst coffee ever. Restaurant food was excellent, service was excellent, room was clean, noise free and spacious. Would stay here again but I would bring my own K-Cups of Coffee.

Amazing! Bathrooms were nice and clean with a big shower that has an adjustable shower head! Beds were so comfy I crashed as soon as I laid on it. This great review also is from comparing it to americas best value which we had just come from down the street. It was the worst! So to come to a place so great makes life good! 😄😄😄

The hotel was very pleasant to say the least, my best friend, her husband and her two children celebrated a birthday and we all had a blast! It was very accommodating, the rooms were spacious and the beds were super comfy. Overall a wonderful stay. Only thing that concerned me was I saw a cockroach and that made me nervous.
