Just bought my VERY HARD TO FIND Marlin 1895 SBL at TripleJ. Besides a little buyers confusion on my part the guys at the shop are extremely knowledgeable and courteous to customers needs. They sold me the rifle cheaper than ANY other store OR private party could. Also bought one of their custom made AR500 targets and it is fantastic to shoot. The kids especially love shooting the steel.

UPDATE: I have now been visiting Triple J Guns 2-3 times a week and have purchased over a dozen firearms here. I visit often as the large inventory is constantly changing. I'm going to have to call BS on the "I got ignored review" posted here. Just last Saturday I observed Joe and his staff ALL assisting a customer that arrived with his wife and daughter for well over an hour. The daughter was looking for a 9mm CCW and wanted to look at specific makes based on a friend's suggestion along with the past experiences of a LEO relative who'd had a bad experience with Kahr warranty.

These folks looked very closely at several pistols. The young woman, her mother, and even the father asked tons of very good questions including the process to have a purchase to the daughter's home state of Louisiana. In the end these folks made an informed decision and the daughter got the 9mm she wanted.

I see this level of customer service each and every time I visit. As to the other reviewer's shop of choice, I have visited this business and am not here to disparage it. I will say this though. Some of their employees brand snobbery on 1911 pistols was not to my liking.

Now you have two entirely different points of view to consider. I'd suggest you go check out Triple J Guns and decide who is fairly describing the business, and who may be nothing more than a Great Guns fanboy.

I have been to every gun store North of the river and never have received the level of service I received here. Imagine being greeted when as soon as you enter the shop, then having the employee immediately ask if they can assist you. No pre-judging, no over inflated egos, and no windbag stories about the employee's 25 fully packed gun safes packed with everything from a .22 to a mini-gun.

If you are just browsing the employees will leave you with a "if you need any assistance, or would like to look at anything, please just let me know".

Every gun store is full of long time customers and tire kickers jawing with the help. It's normal. The difference at Triple J Guns is this, if an employee is engaged in a conversation with a visiting customer, they will interrupt that conversation immediately to assist a buying customer.

Prices are more than fair and I put my money where my mouth is, I purchased a Diamond Back .308 AR as well as a Super Blackhawk .44 mag there in the last two months.

After Christmas shopping is completed they will no doubt be seeing more of my hard earned dollars as their selection is impressive and has many items on my growing want list.

No matter where you are in the metro, Triple J Guns is worth your drive if you want to be treated like a friend as well as a valued customer. If you are content to get hosed on prices keep going where you shop now.
