Giambalvo’s Wood Fired Pizza & Pasta

Enjoyed some classics, Italian sausage and meatball sandwich. Very tasty. Dont sleep on the wings. They are unique and tasty. Shout out to our amazing and entertaining waiter Blake. He made the dinner even better.

We had a group family vacation stop in Kearney, and came across Giambalvo’s on St. Patrick’s Day. The servers were friendly to us all, the drinks were tasty (and festive green!) The bartender went above and beyond with our kids. The pizzas and cheese bread were both excellent. Great restaurant/bar atmosphere.
Highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you, we’ll be back the next time we are in the area!

Wonderful restaurant with great food. The ambiance is warm and inviting and the server was very nice and friendly.

We tried several sandwiches and they were all delicious.

This has quickly become one of our favorite spots. The service is always prompt, professional and pleasant, the prices are very fair and we have yet to have a bad meal. Our favorites are the Chicken Spedini and the Badass Bulldog pizza. The deserts are homemade and fantastic. Highly recommend. 5 outta 5 easy!

Just off I35 in Kearney is a hidden gem! I'm not a pizza fan, just ask my family! This by far is one of the best pies I have had, to include Chicago and NY. The sauce makes it! 12" pie eats as a 16" Hand toss! Kelly behind the bar, the hostess/server, and the two young gents making it work at the oven are all busting it! I travel through here several times a year, my new overnight will be in Kearney. The only thing going is the HDI just of across the street, if the local folks don't make this a regular visit you are missing out. Folks in KC it is worth the drive!

The chicken bacon ranch sandwich was a delicious standout the second time I dined here! The first time, I enjoyed a 10 mamas pizza that was full of toppings, had delicious sauce, and was cooked perfectly! 10/10 would recommend

We stayed across the street at Holiday Inn and this place was delicious! Absolutely try the meatballs and fried ravioli. They have a small bar with both indoor & outdoor seating. We'll definitely go again if we're in the area.

This is a great hidden gem in Kearney and Easy to get to, right off the highway. I went with a party of 5 so we could try different dishes. It was awesome, from the friendly staff to the very tasty and filling dishes. Pizza’s to pasta, with a full service bar!

Thin crust pepperoni and jalapeño we asked for well done. Margherita normal thin crust. Both great pies. No flop, good sauce, great crisp crust. Folded crust bite was the best part. The well done pizza was the favorite out of the two.

Nice place with some killer sauce pastas. The basil tortellini was the best I've ever had... I make some killer Italian sauces myself... And this one took the crown. The spicy bowtie was good but with a slight Cajun seasoning could have been even better... Overall amazing!!

We went tonight for the first time and everything was perfect! We had the chicken Alfredo and meatball sub. We will be back! 😊

Their pizza is fresh and tasty. We try to go during happy hour and enjoy some discounts. We've gone to the patio the last two visits and really enjoyed that. Servers are always friendly. Love it!

Husband and I tried this place today. It was excellent. Clancie was our server. She was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely attentive and friendly. She suggested the Bavarian Pretzel with beer cheese. All I can say is WOW. It was so good! My only complaint was my potato soup with just a little cold but hey it wasn't the end of the world. It was still delicious. We will definitely be back and so glad Kearney has this place. Wishing you many years of success.

Excellent customer service & delicious food! We had the Caesar salad, caprese salad and a traditional wood fired (hand tossed crust) cheese pizza. The two girls working (a dark haired girl & blonde girl) were so sweet and helpful! Thanks so much!

First Time visit after hearing good things from friends & family in surrounding towns.
Ordered 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 specialty drinks, 1 dessert. Every single thing tasted AMAZING. Our server Jake went above & beyond with very knowledgeable & attentive service. Asked his opinion on several menu items before ordering, & his input & patience were perfect. It is evident that he takes pride in the restaurant he works for, I was given the impression that he was probably related to the owners by the amount of knowledge he had about everything. But no, he is just That good!
The ambiance, the speed of service, the attention given, & most importantly- the TASTE of the amazing food made my night. I will be recommending Giambalvo's (and Jake!) to any & everyone, and already cannot wait to come back.
Additional Notes: Plenty of parking on site. Very clean & nice smelling restrooms. Great sports viewing on bar side. Good quality to-go containers. I sat in a comfortable booth.
One Suggestion: The women's toilet had a bit of a wobble, nothing a simple tightening up can't handle I'm sure!

Wow! What a find in suburbia. One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten in. Vincent's Chicken Spiedini was something I had never had or even seen before and it was fabulous. Marinated chicken, lightly breaded, served on a skewer with a garlic olive oil dipping sauces. Brink's Favorite sounds so simple - angel hair pasta, olive oil and butter - but it was exquisite. Better than just the sum of its parts. And they have a $4 house salad. The staff was a bit inexperienced - not bad, just new. The food is worth it.

Great food and great service. We had the garlic pizza which was amazing. We’ve been there twice and after a long days drive it’s great to spend time in a local restaurant instead of a chain. Will be back as soon as we can.
