I called to inquire about their stock of Microtech knives as they are an authorized dealer for that company, and the lady who answered the phone was just about the nicest person I've had the pleasure of contacting in a customer service position. They didn't have the exact knife I had my heart set on, but she walked me through a couple of the other options that were available that aligned with my interest. I asked about another which also wasn't in stock, and she gave me info on the fact they had just recently gotten their selection refreshed last week (called 7-28-23) and probably wouldn't get more anytime soon. I thanked her and we hung up. A few minutes later she called me back and let me know she had missed one of the options I had asked about, albeit in a different color than what I had mentioned, and it inspired me to go to the location to see what all they might have after all. Her name was Maggie, and she turned my offhand call to check stock into a real shopping experience that encouraged me to visit.

*UPDATE* I ended up buying one of the other knives Maggie showed me, she was just as nice in person, and I even picked up a red dot sight. I thought the gun prices were good for retail location, and other people seemed nice as well. 4 people working in store, a couple of other customers in store, everyone was being helped and was an inviting chatty experience.

Great place, great people and very helpful and knowledgeable! Definitely come here for your next firearm purchase. I'll definitely be back. And it feels good to support small businesses. Thanks to everyone at Gunner's!

The staff here are so nice! I love them! They don't have a ton of guns, but the ones that do have are to notch! I love this place, and I highly recommend it! ❤❤❤

Friendly staff, patient and polite. Value on trade-ins seems to be fair. I'm a bit of a newbie, and I know they can tell, and they're still patient with me :) I've only had good experiences here, and I will keep coming back.

Great knowledgeable guys that are more than willing to help the customers. Always thought I’ve gotten an excellent deal went trading around my guns or buying anything from the store. Very accommodating and helpful, laid back environment.

Fantastic gun shop. Very reasonable prices that are competitive with Academy and way better than Frontier Justice. The guys that work there are really nice dudes and can answer just about any question. Solid selection of stuff in store, including high end stuff like Dan Wesson and lower end stuff like Rock Island. They don't carry some brands, like Colt, in stock, but they are willing to order without an extra fee.

There is a taller guy that works here and I swear by his ability to adjust dovetail sights just by the customers description of how off left or right their shot was. I brought in just my pistol slide by itself to have it adjusted. I had already sited in my laser that was on my pistol lower back home. He adjusted my dovetail site and I drove home. When I married my upper slide with my pistol lower I flipped on my laser and it matched PERFECTLY in line with the iron sites. These guys are the ones you want working on your firearms guys!!!

Went into gunners looking for a new pistol and was greeted by a very friendly gentleman behind the counter. Told him my price range and what I was looking for in my new firearm and he showed me several different models that would fit me well. As I was about to purchase lightning struck the transformer on the building and they lost all power. I only had a card on me so he wasn't able to check me out, he told me that if I drove to the ATM and got cash he would make it worth it to me. He did just that, offered me a lower price and I walked out a VERY satisfied customer. Will for sure be back to gunners. Great little shop.

Excellent Customer Service with Great Prices!!! Highly Recommended!!!

Firstly I tried every gun store in north KC and was met with terrible customer service. Not only did I feel very unwelcome, but I instantly realized that I wasn't welcomed after 15 mins of browsing with no one even approaching me.

Now fast forward to today, I go to Gunners after seeing their arms lists ads....boy what a world of difference. Not only was I greeted right when I entered, but I immediately felt welcomed. The guys at Gunners are the go to fellas. They answer any questions, and provide top notch customer service.

I appreciate you guys for the superb work and the beautiful firearm.
