Wow..just wow! This little shop packs a punch of deliciousness! She had me at “lavender donut” but I was pushed over the sugar mountaintop with strawberry puffs of yum and Lucky Charms sprinkled on sugary clouds. You have to stop by and fall in love with Sugar Whipped just like I did.

Hands down the best doughnuts and pastries in the entire metropolitan area of Kansas City. Located in an amazing historic downtown of Plattsburg, MO, our family has enjoyed these top notch desserts and treats since our move up here. The service is amazing and the owners are spectacular individuals!!!

A quaint little bakery in an adorable town. Not only is the food absolutely DELICIOUS, but the owner and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Stepping into this bakery is like stepping into a whole other atmosphere where all is happy and comfortable. If you just need a place to rest and even read a book from their free library to your kiddos, that’s ok! They’re very kind people with fantastic pastries. I’ve NEVER been disappointed. This place is everything you want from a small town bakery. The food is all made fresh, the atmosphere is cute and quaint and the staff are the kind of people to start your day off on a good note. My son loves their donuts, I love the pastries and various desserts (cheesecake cones = YUM) and my husband raves about the breakfast sandwich. They make new creations regularly, too, so there is always something new to try. Highly recommend stopping by for breakfast or a treat!

The owner and Pastry Chef Melissa has amazing vision and is very extremely talented!! She always makes the most amazing wedding cakes!! You will not go wrong if you choose her for your birthday or wedding!!

I’ve been going here since she opened her shop 5 years ago! My favorite is her signature coffee sugar whipped! She does amazing work with her donuts and all her cool antiques she’s got around her shop! Sugar whipped is a must see/ have when you come to Plattsburg <3 thanks for all you do!

My gorgeous geode wedding cake was dreamed of for years and it did not disappoint! Melissa is an artisan and her cakes are pure, unfiltered magic. We are so grateful for her beautiful work it was a rare privilege to eat such delicious art.

Every great sweet treat that I have tried has been top notch! There is always a savory choice but come early! Our wedding cake was not only a work of art, the taste was magnificent!

Ordered a birthday cake for my daughter. It was decorated perfect. Cake was moist and icing not too sweet. My vehicle broke down when I picked the cake up and the owner was so gracious to keep cake so it would stay cool while I made arrangements. I had my dad and my two very young grandchildren with me and they were so able to stay in the store. Great little bakery with a super nice owner.

I absolutely love everything about this quaint, small town bakery. The coffee is hot and delicious. The pastries are phenomenal- you can’t just have one!

Also, her wedding cakes are downright dreamy, crafted with love, and make me wish I needed a wedding cake again. Fortunately, I’ve had some at weddings she has baked for and I can’t sing her praises enough!

This bakery is truly a small town gem. I love the antique decorations and the owner is very knowledgeable and friendly! There were so many delicious baked goods to pick from, it was hard for us to choose. My boys really like her glazed donuts and the apple turnovers are fantastic! I can't wait to go back when we can sit inside and visit!!

Sugar Whipped Bakery was a fellow vendor at The Brim's wedding venue open house. I had the opportunity to see the lovely table set up displaying their treats and everything was absolutely gorgeous. I had a cupcake that was truly delicious. I would use Sugar Whipped Bakery's baked goods myself and definitely would and will recommend them to others.

Love this wonderful, homey bakery! The pastry chef trained in NYC and has the chops to prove it. Her cakes are works of art and just as delicious. The bakery case is always filled with fun and tasty creations. Plus, the bakery atmosphere is cozy and eclectic. This place is an absolute gem!

We were lucky enough to catch Sugar Whipped for our wedding in Brooklyn before the business moved to Missouri! Melissa met with us, and we discussed what the wedding would be like and what my husband and I wanted. The three tiers of flavors were out of this world (raspberry almond, citrus, and sea-salted chocolate caramel). The decor on the outside was elegant, and included incredible hand-crafted edible flowers. We couldn’t believe it! The chocolate wishbone on top (a symbol of the day my husband and I met) was so special, and the burlap print around the cake to match the wedding decor - perfection! Thank you, Melissa! We couldn’t have asked for more!
