I like that there are open fields next to the park although I rarely see people using theme. It’s fun to explore the trails through the woods and see where you come out, but it would also be nice if the woods trails were better marked. Most people park off 31st to get to the lake as there isn’t a parking lot very close if you want to enjoy the lake.

The BBQ site is great. Parking lot has no shield for any spots. It was really hot when we has our BBQ there.
The area has play ground, tennis court, basketball court and bathroom near by.

This park has a nice shelter, playground area, tennis courts and has nearby paved walkways leading around Mary's Lake and natural woods, streams. There is a second shelter in a clearing off of one of the walkways.

It's a nice place for a gathering. It has a place to grill, play equipment, and a tennis and basketball court.
