Hampton Inn & Suites Kansas City-Merriam

Our stay a couple of weeks ago while we had a softball tournament, what a great experience the staff and accommodations were all top-notch and hope to be staying there again next time we’re in town for a tournament! I did make the mistake of leaving a couple articles of clothing there and Christina personally took care of it for me and made sure to get my items returned to me promptly customer service A++++ thanks again

Wonderful place to stay! Breakfast was superb, and front desk was amazing! A little dated but that comes with the times, and location leaves a bit of noise but its the highway not like they can tell the cars to be quite 😂. Any issue we had was fixed asap which was appreciated since most hotels don't give that amount of care. Also had a wonderful chat with the blue haired worker, their really going places!! Overall a 9/10 experience! Would recommend! And definitely sign up for hilton honors its so worth it (they don't spam your emails!!!)

Great price for a luxury feel!!! I really liked this hotel! Pet friendly and the rooms and service were fantastic. The Indian gentleman was absolutely the best front desk guy I have ever interacted with. Light humor on a long road trip does wonders... others should take notes.... he was great! I didn't get his name before he left but he deserves to be commended. Best stay anywhere in years...

Wow! Besides the pool not being open. The room is nice, clean, great service.

It is an old building but well kept. Not for a luxury stay but good for a comfortable family trip. Even though the building is old it is still very clean and we experienced no inconveniences. It was nice and quiet in the room we stayed in. It was the first Hampton I stayed in that had a bedroom separated from the living room with a door and two tvs. Perfect for family

Staying in the area for work. This hotel location is incredibly convenient.

The hotel is impeccably clean and well kept. I travel often for business and am quite picky about my hotels - this is one of the best kept hotels.

They do daily housekeeping-which is unheard of these days and feels like a gift everyday.

Lastly, the service is spot on and super positive.

Extremely friendly staff with clean rooms. We had a two room suite and were quite pleased. Hot breakfast was available starting at 6:00AM. Rates are comparable to similar facilities. Swimming pool is provided.

The service was excellent from every employee I interacted with (receptionist, cook, housekeeper). Unfortunately, we were originally put in a handicap room all the way at the end of the hallway. That was a long, difficult walk for someone who uses a walker. The front desk person was able to switch us to the 1st floor in a room truly meant for a handicap person. Thank you for that. It's the people who make this a great place to stay.

Wonderful place to stay. My wife and I have traveled from Michigan to Texas twice in the last 2 years. We chose this hotel on the first trip down, and have been booking it as our "half-way home" stop. They staff is very friendly, and the room was immaculate. Late night check ins without a hitch and I love that it's right off the Highway and I can get back on the road very easily. Definitely would recommend staying there to anyone making a trip and needing a nice place to rest for the night!

From check-in to check-out we had a great stay. Our room wasn't fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. We both slept well. Breakfast was fresh and proper temperature. The lady stocking the breakfast area was very helpful when I had allergen questions about the prepared food. Future trips to KC, this will be my first choice for hotels.

Our stay here was great! Location was perfect, staff was welcoming and friendly. Complimentary breakfast surpassed expectations! The hallways were hot but the rooms were nice and cold which was weird but we were okay with it. Our room had a living room type space that was so perfect for relaxing during downtime. The table and mini kitchenette was great for bringing our breakfast up to to dine privately. The bathroom mirror!!! Big, lighted, well-lit for hair and makeup bathroom mirror and adjacent full length mirror was the best! Plenty of plugs and USB outlets! The beds weren't the worst but not the best I've been in. Still with staying there for only 3 nights it will do. We will definitely stay here again! Location, breakfast, temperature of the room, and the rest of the room made up for the bed.

All employees were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was enjoyable and a little different options each day.

Last minute stay for a tournament weekend. Easy to find. Very clean. Indoor pool and fitness room look great (though we didn't use those). Fantastic breakfast with doors open to let in nice morning breeze. Sanitation stations throughout. Very polite/ friendly staff.

Had a 1 night stay for business. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Clean accommodations. Everything from restaurants to attractions were in close driving distance and very easy to find. Only suggestion would be to salt the entrance way...rain & sleet weather conditions made it a lil slippery coming in. Other than that, very nice large comfy bed and spacious room. Just wish the constant dripping noise from outside my window would stop.

I love staying at Hampton Inns. The service and quality is nearly always consistent, and this was no exception. Young lady at the front desk was sweet and helpful. Bed was comfy. Location is nice for both Overland Park and even about 20 minutes from the Plaza in KC.

Breakfast was pretty good, quite a few choices. Lots of seats. Cranberry juice would be a nice drink option.

Room was very well appointed. Shower was huge. Everything was clean. Bed was comfy. My only real 'issue' with anything, and it's more of a personal one, is that the HVAC cycled on/off all night long. Kept waking me up. I always sleep with a fan running all night and this off/on switching was very distracting. See, I told you it was personal! :)

I'd totally stay here again. I'll just use my "white noise app" on my iPhone again if the next room works the same. :)

Good service and the breakfast was top notch.

I recently stayed here two nights. The room was clean, staff friendly and the buffet was very good! But my back didn't tolerate the mattress on the bed I had. I slept about an hour. The second night I went to the desk to ask if there was maybe an air mattress or topper I could use on the bed. Casey was the desk manager. I tried the air mattress but it didn't work. So Casey comped me a room and I slept great without any back pain! I had a lot of driving I had to do and I was awake and alert to drive! Thank you Casey!

I had two stays here in the spring, and both were pleasant! The staff is very nice and helpful, and the hotel facilities were good. The location is tucked just off of the expressways, so as long as you have reliable transportation you can get anywhere pretty quickly.

The actually hotel is exactly what I have come to expect from a Hilton. Great service and clean rooms. The restaurant might be the best place to eat in the entire town and the gift shop has tons of interesting things.
The area is beautiful. It's so nice that I find it hard to drive through without stopping every 15 minutes to take pictures.
I will be staying here every time I'm in town for work.
