Best Western Premier Kc Speedway Inn & Suites

This hotel was better than advertised. It was up class very very nice. I loved the rooms and a extra bonus of your own private walk out balcony with a amazing view of Kansas Speedway. All the staff was friendly and went above and beyond there customer service. The pool was amazing with the slide but the hottub was cold. The breakfast was amazing hot breakfast every morning. And finally great location to everywhere by Legend Mall. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our Fathers Day weekend so much fun.

The rooms were not bad, they just require some deep cleaning. We had a couple lights that did not work, and were transferred to another room (upgrade). The manager (Shardae) was the best part of our stay. She made use feel very welcomed. Though very professional her interaction with us was as though we had been friends for sometime. My wife really took a liking to her, she was great.

Honestly, every time my family and I come here, it’s a pleasant stay and at a great price. The location is perfect for those who want to be close to plenty of shopping and dining options and minutes from the highway to get to KC.

Breakfast is great too and the rooms are clean and spacious. The indoor pool is fun and has a slide and the hot tub is wonderful!

Finally, the staff- every single staff member here has treated me and my family with excellent customer service and care. The ladies at the front desk are always kind and attentive to us. Also- there is always fresh lemon water, iced tea and fresh hot coffee, including decaf.

For us, this hotel checks off all the boxes.

First I wanna say DONT stay in the room 234, it was so horrible it smelled so weird and we know for a fact their was a spirit in that room no joke their wasn’t no bible in their either the vibes were so off never going going back there again the pool looked disgusting i don’t care . We stayed there Tuesday and lefted Wednesday morning 18-19 June 2024 DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL

Alfreda and Bianca were exceptionally helpful to our family! They went out of their way to help get our room early, ensure we had all we needed, and even gave a tour of the pool and impressive waterslide!

Hotel was really nice and super clean. Kat at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We’ve traveled across the country and stayed in many Best Westerns. This was one of the nicest we’ve stayed in. Within walking distance to Famous Dave’s. My husband said the pillows were small, but the bed was really comfortable. Definitely would stay again and recommend. Our dog loved the hotel too!!

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the whole hotel was very clean and well kept. The pool area is great for kids and the breakfast is larger than most hotels. We'll certainly be using this hotel the next time we're in KC.

When we arrived at the hotel after 5 I had to wait in line for awhile to be told our room wasn't ready. I heard them tell several other people the same thing. We came back later around 11pm. The room smelled like throw up. The rooms look worn out. The speaker over one of the beds didn't work so you had to have the other one up louder so the people in the other bed could hear it. Their was no TV remote. Their were missing fixtures in the bathroom. Their was also what looked to be mold in the bathroom. Overall for the price off a premier best western it wasn't worth it.

Perfect location for us. Service was phenomenal. Asked for more coffee for the room, and a young gentleman literally ran down the hall to get me more. Pool was fun to keep the kids occupied, but it was a bit warm. Odd layout for the rooms with the entrance door, bathroom door, and a swing-out mirror for a closet occupying the same space but definitely not enough to ding a star off. Absolutely loved this place!

Great location, walking distance from Children's Mercy Park (directly across the road) and down the road from Legends. Clean and updated rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Pool, pool slide big enough for adults, bar, and mini market on site. Breakfast had many options and staff kept it stocked. Would recommend and would be willing to stay here again.

I had the most amazing hotel experience I have ever had, and I didn’t even enjoy a room overnight. Darryl Hunter greeted me as I checked into the front desk, in distress. I’d just had a flat tire, and my elderly mother and I were stranded. I asked Darryl for help and he did not even bat and eye, I was in shock! The hotel lobby was fresh, clean, and inviting. Darryl made sure his front desk duties were covered and assisted me in changing my flat tire. I was so surprised by his quick decision-making and willingness to help! Darryl was polite, calm, incredibly helpful, and empathetic. Having such incredible service while not even registered as a paying guest, leads me to believe that his hotel has a standard of excellence rooted within the integrity of its employees. To Darryl, thank you for your selfless assistance and kindness. You really made my day!! Kuddos to the hotel for hiring such incredible stewards of client experience.

Had a very nice stay, but what made the trip the best was the front desk manager Johnny! He was very accommodating, a great problem solver, went above and beyond, and cared about us having a comfortable stay. Johnny was very professional, and does his job very well. Looking forward to coming back.

We stayed here for 1 night, we were originally scheduled for 2 days but only needed to stay the one night due to a change in plans. They refunded the money to us for the second nights stay. The rooms were very clean, the water pressure was great, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was fully stocked and the coffee was hot at 6 am when I had work and needed to be up early. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Kansas City area, let alone the legends.

In town for a family reunion. The bartender is an absolute gem. Our uber never showed to take us to the casino so Tina, bartender , took my 87 yrs old parents and I to Hollywood and then picked us back up! Service was EXEPTIONAL. Front desk was awesome and competent. Rooms were clean. Hot tub was great . Will definitely be back and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Even if you dont stay the night stop in and visit the bar !

I was stranded 2 days at Legends, as my car broke down. I don't want to compliment this staff by name here - but they HELPED me when I needed it. They offered internet, snacks, and comfort at a time of need. They DID MY LAUNDRY. During my 2 day stay I interacted with each employee, they have a family atmosphere. I emphatically recommend this hotel.

Great location to stay! Aside from the rooms being extremely nice and the convenience complimentary breakfast the front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. Specifically, Darryl he helped out with any questions and if he didn’t know he went searching for the answers. Great staff, great stay!

It was a beautiful place. The bathroom could have been cleaned a little better/ the floor.
I would still recommend a stay. The price was great! The buffet was great, and the staff was so kind!!

Spent two comfortable nights. Despite being across the hall from elevator, ice machine and housekeeping, the only thing that disturbed us was the tremendous thunderstorm in the very early morning hours. Our room was showing a bit of wear but was clean and sizeable.
Front desk: friendly and accommodating
Breakfast: good variety that looks and tastes better than most. One suggestion- put the milk dispensers on the other side of the dry cereal instead of next to the waffle iron that transfers heat to the metal carafes.
Staff: housekeepers and breakfast folks all with greetings and smiles.👍

We've stayed here before and it was a great place, but it was a different stay this time. The service was mediocre, the room had an odor, the door on the cabinet to the refrigerator was broken, the smoke detector was covered in tape. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well, but the breakfast area looked like it had been hit with a bomb. Looked like no one cleaned up after themselves. The hotel is in a very popular area, convenient for events and shopping and that's why you pay the higher price for the room!
