Lyons Park

This is a nice, quiet place to take the kiddos on the way to ice cream on Mass. 5/5

The pickleball courts and the water park are the not-so-hidden crown jewel of North Lawrence, as far as parks go. Grateful to have these features near home.

Very nice. The splash area was great for our granddaughters 1st birthday party!

The splash pad is so nice and the kids love it every summer and can't wait to go back ever summer.

Great park! Lots of climbing equipment for the kiddos and various sports courts for everyone. And there are restrooms!! I think there are grills asst the pavilion too.

Love the free water features, great for kids and dogs alike.

Great place for kids with tennis and basketball courts and a softball field! Shelter can be reserved easily online for events also.

This park has all the amenities. It has tennis and basketball courts, and two extremely well-maintained baseball diamonds. It has a nice new playground and a canopy covered area for parties. I didn't use the restroom there so I cannot attest to the condition, but it's definitely nice to know one is available.

Great local park. Small playground for you kids. 2 baseball fields. A basketball court. And a bunch of pickleball courts. Almost always people playing pickleball in the morning, but I have always been able to find space to play.

Clean. Safe equipment. There are 3 baseball diamonds, 2 playgrounds with nice well-maintained equipment, and a basketball court. Plus a nice path all the way around the park.

Good playground equipment with variety of challenges for preschoolers through elementary age children. Nice shaded area. Shelter with picnic tables. Adequate parking. Restrooms available. Light traffic.

Had a picnic with my dog and daughter while driving to Hiawatha from Manhattan. Nice place to just enjoy the outdoors. Would be nice if there was public restrooms.

I grew up in North Lawrence and Lyons Park was always fun. There's basketball and tennis courts, two ball fields, a playground with a shelter and bathrooms. It's a great clean place to spend the day with your friends and family.

A couple of outdoor baseball fields, frequently used for kickball as well. Nice little park with plenty of grassy space.
Mostly this park is the two baseball fields.

Nice play structure, good for smaller kids to reach. Bathroom facility, picnic shelter and ball parks.

Definitely the Place to consider taking a stroll through if you're searching for the perfect Family/Friendly Neighborhood Park.
