Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh

Great Renovated Store with hot food. Ever since the Hy-vee store removed the italian department pizza, they have pizza here at Fast & Fresh. Its across S Illinois Ave from Yesway (East). The Store is clean and you can get a punch card for fountain drinks or coffee (10 punches for a free one) which is nice. I hope this that this station continues to do well.

Great place to get gas in Mason City. And great little convenience store has everything you could possibly want last minute. I always like a good HyVee gas station when I'm out and about and on the go. The workers are always nice and easy to talk to which is really nice. They always have good snacks and cheap fountain drinks and that's always good!!

Clean, friendly, good variety of items - best convenience store in town And, if they don't have what you want, the Hy-Vee close by, probably has it.!

Workers are so laid back, funloving and have good vibes and it's such a boost of a mood sharing laughs!

Probably the nicest gas station in town. The parking lot can be kind of a zoo. They have the best food options in the area- AND they're the only place where the slushy machines work.

I went to this establishment with my fiancé to get a fountain drink, while standing in line this particular female employee walked right through me without saying “Excuse me” or she could have even walked around me as I was standing side by side with my fiancé waiting to check out. The lady walked back the same way right through me without saying “Excuse me” again, that’s when I spoke up and said to her, “Excuse you!” while I was catching my balance (even worse, I have a severely sprained ankle that’s not fully healed!) The lady didn’t respond to me, her nose was high on the air with a look like “Get over it I have the right away” type of attitude. The cashier, I noticed, looked right at me after I said excuse you to the lady but he didn’t say anything either. The lady was doing something with the popcorn (as pictured) which is right next to the doors to leave, as I walked by to exit the store I simply looked at the lady & told her that she shouldn’t be so rude. I will never go back to this particular establishment due to the rude lady who pushed through me not only once but twice!! You just simply don’t do that especially to paying customers!!!!

Cold restroom. Only use if you want to freeze your butt off.
