Iron Horse Neighborhood Grill

Must have! As we passed through on a 3 day drive, this was the exact spot we needed! Great portions of high-quality food. Even the kids' meals were delicious. I recommend the Dirty Bird.

Great little local bar in a nice small town of Iowa, staff are very nice and professional, great drinks, I had the fish and chips and it turned out great, perfectly cooked and crispy, many hard drinks to enjoy. Definitely come by if you are on your way to Kansas City.

Cheese burger was very good. The onion rings good.

Traveling back home and we felt that we were fortunate to find this gem. We tried the Tomahawk Pork Chop (tender, flavorful), Fettuccine Alfredo (the best ever), Beer Battered Jumbo Shrimp (very tasty). If we’re going through Osceola again this will be on our list. They have a varied menu and friendly waitresses. Fast service.

What great and abundant food. Tenderloin was thick and crunchy and the pulled pork was big enough for 2-3 sandwiches! Going back soon!

Went for a Road Trip and ended up in Osceola. Looked up a few places and went with the Iron Horse Neighborhood Cafe. Food was Delicious and arrived at the table pretty fast for the amount of people that were already there. Service was also Exceptional, Fast and Friendly. Dakota was my Server and she did an Awesome job. I will be returning sometime soon to try other dishes.

One of the most real (in a good sense) that we have been to. Wish we could stay a month so we could try everything on the wonderful menu!

Stopped in our way back to Minnesota, sat at the bar had couple cold ones and sandwiches, Dan was so nice and pleasant.

We are vegan so we always order the black bean and beet burger. It’s pretty good, and we love having a local restaurant only minutes from our house that offers a vegan burger.

First time there. Definitely will come back next year when we will be in town. Our server Daniel K was awesome!! Great food and very nice clean place.

Their website says 'A great meal in an upscale casual setting'...and they do just that. First off the food is fantastic! The 'Bacon Wrapped Poppers' were incredible. Smoky, crispy bacon wrapped around cheese filled peppers. Totally worth the extra wait time. The onion rings were had a tasty crunchy batter and tender onions inside. Burgers were great, meat was cooked perfectly. Flavors complimented each other very well. Tasty food and a great setting. It was busy, so there was some extended waits, but the staff do a very good job of taking the extra step for every customer.

We stopped by the Iron Horse last Saturday night after we checked into our hotel room nearby. I told my wife I wanted either prime rib, a rueben, or a good burger, and sure enough, she found this place and low and behold it had all 3. The menu is great with plenty to over. The special on that Saturday night was indeed the prime rib that I ordered, and my wife got a salad, and the kids had a burger and a grilled cheese. My prime rib was a perfect medium rare and came with my loaded baked potato. Everything was exceptional, and so was our great service. The place was absolutely packed, and people had to wait. They were out of rolled silverware when we were sat, but they came out not too long after. It did take a while for our food but we understand it's crazy busy and it seemed everyone from the small town was there. Big city restaurant in a small town

Nice place to sit down and relax. It was quiet but they were fast and the food was delicious.

If you're wanting great service, great food and a bar and grill type atmosphere this is an amazing place. Love it.

A nice place in the square (downtown) Osceola. I liked how they even had things marked as gluten free. I had the chicken salad and made the chicken grilled. It was a huge salad and very filling.

Highly recommend the Iron Horse! We were seated quickly and waiter was very helpful and friendly! The Georgia and Mulberry mules were Fantastic….as well as the food was really delicious! If you are traveling through on I35, it’s definitely worth the time to stop in and enjoy great food!

We were from out of town and found this place. Food was absolutely amazing. It was super busy when we there but our waitress handled it like a champ (I wish I caught her name.) I loved the entire experience at this restaurant, only thing was my husband's pretzel appetizer came minutes before our dinner. All and all it was perfect and highly recommend!!!

My sister , nephew and I were road tripping, beautiful country area. We were starving and stopped here. Food was fantastic as was our waitress. If I'm in the area I'll be back. I need to add the sour cream chive french fries are amazing.
