Just lovely! Julie (owner, i believe) was there during the camps - friendly, sweet, talking to everyone. Love this place. Animals look well cared for, fun to feed them. Farmer Debbie is also so great - my tot is doing a little farm class once a week with her and he LOVES it!

Adorable family farm with beautiful landscaping and great farm store with local products. We love walking around looking at the farm and animals. The animals are well cared for and loved. They’re always excited for you to bring treats. My family and I have been coming to this farm for over 30 years and we have enjoyed and loved every visit.

When I was visiting my cousins from out of state, I knew we had to go to the farm they have been RAVING about for years. They have been attending camp for as long as I can remember, and have told me all of their fantastic stories of crazy farm traditions, hilarious hay-rides, and memories that will clearly last a lifetime. When driving to the farm I thought it couldn’t be nearly as amazing as it sounds, but when we visited I could feel the warmth the second I stepped out of the car. We had a great time playing with all the animals, and learning about the extraordinary care that is put into running a working farm. Now I just have to wait to come back next year!

You can't miss the iconic large red barn that has the word EGGS, but backwards on it. Flamig Farm has been in existence since 1907; located in West Simsbury.

First visit, I got there around 4:40 and they were closing at 5; it was a short trip because I just wanted to get some eggs. The employee said they were closing soon and so was the petting zoo when I first walked in; I mentioned I was going to be quick and just wanted to get some eggs. I didn't know they had a petting zoo so I made a plan to go back again another time. The store was your typical farm stand, they had eggs, honey, cookies, apparel, and various of other knick knacks. They were having a sale, buy one dozens eggs ($7) and get one dozen free. The chickens were laying too many eggs and they wanted to get rid of as many as possible.

The second time, I got in earlier in the day and purchased petting zoo tickets; $8 per person over 2 years old/under 80 years old and for an additional $2, you can purchase feed. I highly recommend getting the feed, the animals loved it. The petting zoo was bigger than I thought. There's even a playground with benches and picnic tables. The place seemed clean and the animals seem well taken care of. We saw pigs, llamas (my favorite), sheep, goats, alpacas, peacocks, cows, ponies (another favorite), donkeys, bunnies, chickens, and a black cat.Inside the shop, there were baby chicks, birds, and guinea pigs. There were signs explaining what type of animals, facts, and their story/names throughout. They also offer pony and tractor rides for an additional fee. There's a huge pavilion with picnic tables; you can bring your own food in.

Also, there is an Airbnb onsite and people book their weddings there. There are many events hosted there as well; children programs and summer camps are popular ones. My kids and I had a blast petting and feeding the animals. I highly recommend!

What a great farm! We had my son’s second birthday party here. The birthday package was a great deal and our host, Sophie, was fantastic! Party room was clean and organized. Personal farm tour and hayride were entertaining for kids of all ages. Included feed for the animals for all children and their parents. Cleanup was quick and their staff take care of the trash. I was hesitant about the cost ($400), but it was well worth it!

Update: We had my son’s birthday party here again one year later. Flamig farm does not disappoint. Madeline was our fantastic host! I ended up having almost 50 people. 20+ kids. Everyone had a great time. There’s plenty of entertainment and plenty of space. I can’t say enough great things about this beautiful family-owned farm. We’re coming back again next year!

First time visiting the farm. Was here for my grandsons first birthday party. It was a wonderful experience. Pony rides, hay ride (which I have to say the driver of the tractor was a wonderful young man that was witty and informative and made the ride extremely fun). Would DEFINITELY recommend. Thank you Flamig Farm for adding to our wonderful memories!!!

Flamig farm is the highlight of my & my nieces & nephews summer! The camp is a great for the kids and with the yearly pass we get to enjoy everything all season from the babies to the old timers! The animals are well taken care of, are all named, happy & seem to remember us when we visit! 🤷‍♀ I admire the care that is taken for every animal they care for. And, they are also known to take in any needy animal that needs a home ❤ Simsbury is fortunate to have such a wonderful place in it’s own back yard!

We moved to Simsbury last year and this farm has been our favorite place in town for our children! People come from near and far knowing that this family owned farm is part of the heart of this town! I've had my youngest in the Children's Program with farmer Debbie for the Fall and Spring, and my oldest is currently doing summer camp! We know many of the animals by name and have learned so much of the farm's history over this past year! Their holiday celebrations were amongst my favorite things to do for Halloween and Christmas time! Don't forget to visit and join their programs!

My husband wanted to come here for Father's Day and this was our first time here. The cashier that greeted us was so nice in explaining things to us, they have eggs so of course I got 2 dozen (it was buy 1 get 1). Every animal was so friendly (no bitten fingers) and they had an informative sign posted for every animal in every area. We ended up purchasing 2 buckets of grain because the animals were so fun to feed. They had a playscape and plenty of shade everywhere and so many photo ops! We will definitely be coming back!

This is a very fun place to take your children but lest the where that if you're not careful the animals might bite. Most of the animals are actually very friendly and the staff are incredibly welcoming as well. Also a good tip to know is that in the egg Room farm store there are 2 restrooms available to the public.

Flamig Farm is a must-visit summer activity for any families in the area! The animals are super friendly, especially the sheep, the staff are exceptional, especially the camp counselors, and my children have absolutely loved their experiences both at their camp and interacting with the animals on separate visits. I have and will continue to absolutely recommend a trip to Flamig Farm for both animal enjoyers and for families looking for some morning or afternoon entertainment or for an excellent summer camp!

They have great camps for kids. Thanks Farmer Kelly for the fun times!! Everyone who works there is friendly and accommodating. If your not in the camp you can buy a bucket of grain and feed most of the animals, kids love it. Definitely worth a visit.

We loved visiting this farm, our 4 year old daughter had a great time feeding and petting all the animals. And she went crazy for the pony ride. I spoke to the owner Nevin before we left and they have done an amazing job running their farm, a must see attraction!

Flamig Farm has been a staple in my life ever since I started going to camp as a 8 year old. Not only are the animals great but so are the staff, each of them are welcoming and friendly to each kid and customer. Now as an adult, I can still say my favorite camp as a kid has become my home.

I brought my son here. He really enjoyed it. We got to touch and interact with the animals aget up close with them and pet them and they don't bite! The staff here are super friendly and more than happy to refill you feeding bucket for the animals if you happen to drop it or the animals grab it.
