I'm suprised at some of the reviews. I at first though the same thing. Why wasn't I getting my machine if it was so improtant? Why wasn't I getting phone calls? Until I realized it wasn't J&L it was the medical assistant from my doctor's office. Once me and J&L realized this communication was smooth and everything was up and running. They went hard to get me my machine and supplies because the MA wasn't doing her job. And when I needed a different mask it took 5 min over the phone and they sent it out for delivery as an emergency so I wouldn't go without.

I cannot for the life of me understand why there are dis-satisfied customers with J&L. I have been on a CPAP machine since 2007, and have only dealt with them. Whether it was an appointment at the store, or just in talking on the phone, I have found nothing but professionalism. Every need I had was met, and every question answered. J&L is a very good company!

What a great place. Ann the respiratory therapist was able ensure I get the best mask for me. Very helpful and knowledgeable ensuring I maintain optimal health. Thank you J and L, and thank you Ann.🤓

Super nice woman helped me for the first time get a cpap machine. Made me feel comfortable and made sure I understood how the mask works and so forth.

It took a long time for this company to get it together to finally get me my CPAP and oxygen. It took multiple phone calls from myself and my provider. Once I was finally able to make an appointment Michelle(Wethersfield office) was fantastic and helped me with everything. After reading all of the other reviews I realize that everybody else has the same issues. Now I know to make sure that when I need new supplies that I follow up to make sure that it's getting done before I run out. Thank you to everyone who was so honest in their assessment.

I just drove my daughter but they were super slow it seemed. With a soffit light hanging down in front of the door it was just not a nice plaza.

I'm not sure why this place has so many issues. It takes ~15 minutes to get someone on the phone. The associates are friendly on the phone but the issues hardly get resolved. I only got my cpap appt because I kept calling- they told me they had insufficient insurance info which is why they didnt call- why wouldn't they have reached out to me realizing this? They later admitted it was a processing issue on their end, not a lack of me providing info. After that was resolved I called again about a month later and they told me they dont know when a cpap will be available bc of the shortage. I had been waiting for 5 months by this point since diagnosis. Later in the call they realized they actually had cpaps and appointments for me to get one- how would they not know if they have the stock? I dont think I would have ever got my appt if I didnt push for it.

Once I got my machine I became worried about maintaining compliance because my mask was giving me painful sores on my nose, plus congestion making it hard to use. I asked for my alternative mask and they said they would have a clinican call me, and also have an emergent mailing of of my new mask. Its been 10 days and I havent got a new mask or call, I had to buy myself a mask online to get me by. J&L is nothing more than a middleman to get your supplies- and they arent very good at it. I will likely try to get my equipment supplied elsewhere.

The white lady at the front counter was thick AF but she look like a man, staff could be a bit more friendlier and it seems like they didn’t know what they was doing with putting information into their tablets, I was there today to pick up my C PAP machine for my gastric bypass surgery

Very bad customer service. I requested a pick up of oxygen concentrator over 2 weeks ago and was told only i could sign. I even got a text confirmation only to have no one show up. Friendly sounding people aay they call right back. No response after 4 calls. I feel horrible for the people who truly need this.

Horrible service, threatening letters sent regarding my “insurance requirements” not being met and to send my CPAP machine back or be billed for it. Can't get through on the phone. They are making a one size fits all judgment without speaking with me or my doctor.

Assigned this company for my dad’s nebulizer supplies for the nebulizer HE USES TO BREATHE! The insurance covers permanent and disposable mouthpieces. His last permanent mouthpiece, which is replaced every 6 months was defective, so after weeks of trying to reach them, they sent a bunch of disposables which my dad breaks everytime he tries to use it because it’s so poorly made. Here I am eight months later, still trying to get parts for it! Report them to the insurance companies!!! They need to be out of business!!! Report them to the BBB!!! This is wrong!!! They say it’s the only company we can use!!!

Service was great!! Till they stopped calling me or returning phone calls . Have not had supplies replaced in months and every time an order was submitted it was canceled. Now I find out they deactivated my account 😒

We were with J & L for 5 weeks:
1 week oxygen was delivered on time
3 were a day late without any notice
The final order was put into the system wrong and my husband was without any back up oxygen for 4 days. They absolutely refused to bring him any. (BTW: I was told they would only deliver on a Thursday. 2 of the Friday deliveries were after hours: 7 & 9:30pm.)

Additionally, I left numerous messages for the delivery manager beginning with week 1, he never responded. I also left messages for his supervisor, same result- no response. When I asked to go above him they gave me a false number to call.
In 5 weeks, my work was affected 6 times.

The lack of communication and customer service is so bad that I have been in distress over and over. The fact they wouldn’t deliver oxygen after they made the mistake which caused my husband to be without any back up, even after a palliative care nurse contacted them, is criminal in my opinion.

If we could give this company a ZERO, it would be too high! HORRIBLE service, inferior products they REFUSE to replace. I could go on. I wish every CT hospital and doctor would find another company. In short...STAY FAR AWAY!

Absolute worst cpap company to go through hung up on multiple times, 100% involved in insurance fraud, no communication with doctors company needs to be shut down asap!

Every depth says they'll call you back no one calls you back. You wait 2-3 weeks to find out they forgot you. You stress that you will loose your job due to their negligence and they do not seem to care. I have worked customer service. This is not how you treat patients. Btw I've been waiting a month to schedule an intake, never mind order the damned machine.

This has been the worst experience trying to get my CPAP. I have been waiting since February- it is now November. They originally told me I would get a call back for a schedule when it was ready- but aware with supply chain issues it might take a little longer… Few months (yes I should’ve check sooner but I have a busy life) go by I decide to call and they tell me they don’t have the correct information for the order so my entire name was wiped out during “system clean out.” Why was I not called if you didn’t have the correct information? Why was my doctor not informed? It then took a month of back and forth and no answers for them to get the correct information and finally put my order in. I’m told two to three weeks. Call back at week three because I haven’t heard a single peep from them with an update. I get no answers and told to be patient. Excuse me I have been patient for 10 months now!!! Worst company ever. Find somewhere else.

This company is the worst. I disputed a bill they sent in for charges they should have assumed responsibility for, given they screwed up. Right after I submitted the complaint, they immediately charged my credit card, which they had previously made me put on file. I sent in a second complaint which was also ignored. Nobody has acknowledged either of the communications I’ve sent. It’s so shady, I am advising my doctor about what happened and recommending that he send his patients elsewhere. Do NOT agree to provide your credit card information to this company.
