My most recent experience at Lux Bond and Green in West Hartford was nothing short of exceptional. As I waited in the repairs department for an item being worked on, I (emotionally) inquired about how to operate a very special watch that I inherited from my late brother. I was struggling to figure out how to reset the time on it and had been wearing it without it actually telling time. I didn’t have it with me, but Cody, one of the gentlemen in repairs overheard my conversation and immediately stopped what he was doing to take the time to answer my questions and gave me his undivided attention.
He went above and beyond on two separate occasions—reminding me to bring the watch in when I came back to pick up an item so that he could teach me all about it while it was in hand—so I could truly learn and retain all that he was explaining.
His excitement, compassion and engagement uplifted my spirits about something that was very hard and emotionally heavy. He taught me how the watch works generally, how to set all the different features on it, and how any watch style similar to this brand functions.
His kindness, true dedication, and clear level of expertise speaks volumes about the quality of service at Lux Bond. I have been a customer here for many years and while this particular encounter was exceptional and noteworthy, it truthfully is not uncharacteristic of the quality of service I’ve experienced over the years. There are so many more wonderful stories I could rave about!!!

I could not have asked for better service or care from Sylvia and the Lux Bond staff! Sylvia was incredible at helping my partner and I pick the perfect diamond and setting for an engagement ring, and it came out absolutely perfectly! When I came in to pick it up, she found me the perfect set of white gold earrings for my partner’s birthday, which is coming up, as well.

Special thanks to David, as well, for helping us with the purchase of my dream watch, which my partner lovingly got me for our engagement, as well:).

Needless to say: We will be back for wedding bands, future watches, and gifts for one another for years to come. I can’t thank Lux Bond & Green enough!

Garreth greeted me immediately as I entered into the store with a huge smile and welcomed me in. I was there to purchase moderately priced earrings for my two daughters for Christmas. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted but Garreth was very patient and showed me a variety of possibilities. I finally settled on two different styles. Garreth wrapped each up in a beautiful box with a red bow and placed each in its own separate bag. My experience was wonderful and it was a pleasure to work with such a polite gentleman. In this day and age, it is rare to find this kind of excellent service along with someone that was personable. We frequent Lux Bond & Green often and I will be sure to request Garreth in the future. It was pure pleasure!

My family and I have had nothing but great experiences with Lux Bond & Green.
Early on, we had the pleasure to meet a wonderful sales associate named Karen. Since our first meeting, Karen has made us feel like family with her friendly smile and great knowledge of products. Karen has taken the time to get to know us and makes it like we’re visiting a friend when we come in, whether we are just stopping by for a quick repair, cleaning or a purchase.
I also have to mention how amazing the repair department is. The staff is very detailed and willing to help fix whatever we bring in for repair. One time, I brought in my Dad's watch that had a broken clasp. The watch was not purchased at LBG, but they happily fixed it on the spot. Excellent customer service, extremely knowledge and talented staff, I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Came to LB&G to talk about very specific watches I wanted to purchase. David was there and provided me with his knowledge and expertise on watches I was interested in. David was extremely professional and attentive. He advised me that they had one watch in stock that was quite similar to the one I was looking for. I was able to walk out of the store with a beautiful time piece and I truly cannot wait to do more business with David and LB&G.

I entrusted two 4 th generation family diamonds to Cody to repurpose in a new design a special gift for my great niece. Cody was very helpful in guiding me about style options. I am thrilled with the finished product and know this will be a lasting gift. Certainly I shall return to have another gift made for the younger sister.

I went to Lux Bond & Green to have my ring repaired. I didn’t realize an invisible set diamond ring was very difficult to repair and only a few reputable places in the country can repair them. At Lux Bond & Green they sent it out and my ring came back looking better than I could have imagined, as they promised. They stand by their commitment to quality and great customer service. I would recommend them highly!

Was recently in because my favorite necklace had 3 separate knots in it. I went to the repair counter and Jose was wonderfully helpful. Within just a couple minutes he had all 3 knots out and had it shining! I was so grateful for his help and his kindness about it. Sometimes it can be intimidated going into higher end stores, but he was so friendly and helpful!! Thank you!

I was thrilled with the interaction I had at Lux Bond & Green yesterday! I walked in just before they closed and was immediately greeted and taken care of. They removed some watch links for me despite having not seen that brand before and knowing it could turn into a difficult case. Professional and quick! I’ll be back soon!

We have been customers at Lux Bond for many years. Karen has helped us with both large and small purchases. Our kids purchased their engagement rings and wedding bands through Karen. We always feel comfortable with her knowledge and understanding of our needs and budget. Karen’s customer service is exceptional. Matt is the best! Definitely ask for him! He has a great knowledge base and is always there to help point you in the right direction with whatever you may be looking for.

My grandmother’s locket, which is of great sentimental value to me, appeared to be broken. The Lux Bond repair department manager quickly reassured me that the locket clasp was not completely broken but was definitely out of alignment. On the spot, he began the delicate operation to realign the clasp without breaking it in the process. With patience and a couple of tools later, he succeeded. I offered to compensate him for his time, but he graciously declined. It’s hard to find anyone these days who does a favor and expects nothing in return. Many thanks!

First, It was great to be doing business with Lux Bond & Green in West Hartford, my hometown jeweler. There is nothing like LBG in New York City. I came back to the store on a mission to replace a strand of gold beads, and as luck would have it I connected with Shiva Beebakhee, the Service Manager, and he knew exactly what I wanted and even had sample beads. We worked together on several visits to get the right size bead, length of the necklace and Shiva made it happen! I am now wearing the beads again which are based on a strand of gold beads my grandmother wore and I I wore at.my wedding . Thank you Sheeva - you are the best!

Thank you to the team at Lux & Bond for helping me chose a commemorative present! I finished all the requirements to become a licensed Architect and the team of Jason, Karen and Matt kindly helped me through selecting a very special piece to celebrate the occasion. I value how kind they were to my family, how professional, how friendly, and how attentive they were. I felt like the most important person in the store with how well they treated me! They even wrapped the gift like a present in beautiful gold wrapping paper. As a designer, I love these little details.
I really liked the selection of women's watches they had. I ultimately went with a Frédérique Constant brand because of how modern and timeless it was. As a 30 year old, I appreciated that the selections of jewelry, time pieces and decorative items attracted a wide age demographic. There's also something for everyone at a good price range.
I will definitely be returning for future purchases!
