The Gathering Diner

We had breakfast here this morning and were very pleased. We were seated right away and greeted by Shannon who was our server. I have to say that there has only been a few times where I will seek out a manager to tell them how excellent the service was, but this was one of those times. Shannon was a delight with a fantastic sense of humor and a work ethic that nowadays seems to be a lost art. Weekend breakfast anywhere can be a bit testy as they all seem to be so busy. The restaurant was full and to go orders were abundant, so we may have waited a little longer than usual for our food, but Shannon was so friendly that it really put us at ease. When the food arrived it was piping hot and delicious, my wife and I both had omelets and were very pleased with our food. Thank you Shannon for the excellent service. And thank you to the chef for the tasty breakfast. We will be back. Oh and Pricing was very reasonable

Lovely family owned and operated intimate diner. They know their strengths and play them up well. Nice, friendly atmosphere with a family vibe. The patrons all interact with each other like a close-knit community. The food is always of a high quality. You always leave stuffed.

Had an absolutely FANTASTIC breakfast at The Gathering Diner this morning!! Inviting atmosphere, delicious food, great service and the owner Mike makes you feel like family. Highly recommend this great breakfast spot!

First time ever coming here today and WOW. I got the spicy Irish omelette and it was easily the best omelette I’ve ever had. Definitely going to be coming here more often

We always have a great experience when we go to the Gathering for breakfast. The food is delicious, the people are friendly, and the service is fast. It's such a sweet place

Very nice staff, good food, portioned appropriately, not overly expensive. Overshadowed by Cosmic Omelette across the parking lot but I would go here first, personally.

There for men's group breakfast. Great food and service. Totally pleased with everything. Will be back.

The gathering is a small little diner with a lot of personality and a menu that you just cannot order wrong on, from eggs benedict and pancakes to unique omelets and sandwiches everything is made with passion and care. The service is absolutely spectacular and the food is always served within a few minutes. My wife and I find ourselves going back weekly and genuinely enjoying it Everytime.

Besides the walls all empty and no decorations, which would be nice, the food was great, fresh tasty and let me say staff was on point. Smiles. Uniform. 2nd round coffee like very friendly. Manager came out to make shore our table of 8 was doing Great 💪🏼😁 Definitely will be coming back!

This is my family’s go-to place as a 3-generation Manchester family, so either I am biased or there’s a reason behind our loyalty! The staff always makes sure you leave happy. The food is great, like someone else said on here - the best home fries I’ve had! I ask for extra crispy. Definitely give this place a try, I come here like every other weekend haha

This is the only place I go for breakfast. The Irish Eggs Benedict and French toast are perfection. The staff and owner are beautiful, wonderful people. It has a nice quaint atmosphere and groovy music. It's like a real breakfast cafe should be.

I've been here 5 or 6 times now...I always get the Denver omelet and have never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly and they give great service.

The food was delish! The service was AWESOME and the space was chill, pleasant and to me a bit nostalgic. Reminded me of the breakfast spots I went as a kid. My first time there was great!

I was introduced to this spot by my brother. Hidden little gem of a place for breakfast. I usually go on Sunday and they can get busy but the wait is never extremely long. The food is basic breakfast fare and taste good. If you are looking for something upscale, not your place. Always clean and service is usually spot on. The only neg is the head waitress (same woman since going there) can get a bit edgy when it's busy and can be a bit snappy with customers and other employees.

Never been here before it was very clean and adorable inside i order takeout and it was amazing Sandwishes were on point and pancakes yummm

Forget about cosmic omelet and any other local breakfast place, the Gathering Restaurant has awesome awesome home cooked large portion breakfast/brunch menu. Came here for the first time with our in laws and absolutely loved the people there and the atmosphere. We have one toddler and one infant, the staff was so amazingly kind and playful with them, they loved it! We will be eating here definitely for many years to come!

My mother could not stop raving about the coffee. Perfectly balanced, not burnt. This is my go-to morning place with family and friends. It can get busy early and on weekends, so plan ahead to enjoy your time.
The staff is friendly and attentive and I am sure they will agree with me that the home fries are a must as they are made in house.
My favourite - the Eggs Benedict. Made perfect every time. Never chewy, always the perfect pop and run when cut into with a beautiful hollandaise. I just got back from Montreal and didn't have Eggs Benedict this perfectly poached.

Definitely the underdog compared to across the street. Tried it for the first time since Cosmic Omelet was closed. Thank god they were because this is now my go to breakfast in Manchester. Service was excellent and food was amazing! Super fresh and hot. Breakfast potatoes are the best I ever had!
