Red Stone Pub

Awesome little hidden gem of Simsbury. Mark and the rest of the team are great people. Guinness always poured perfectly and the pretzel with the maple bacon mustard is always delicious.

Im traumatized by my experience here.
I live in constant fear and look over my shoulder everywhere I go, never knowing when I will be screamed at for bringing in outside drinks. Joe Biden should arest these bar owners because THE STAFF WOULDN'T LET ME BRING IN MY OWN BEER!

The place is a little quirky....everyone seems to know everyone so its a little intimidating at first but the staff is welcoming and the beer selection is fantastic. The only food I've had is the roast beef sandwich which was suggested by another customer and she was right on. It was fresh, warm and pretty tasty. They had trivia going on when I was there and it seemed well received. The building is old and unique and the fireplace makes the room. Parking is a little tight but its not a big deal to park across the street. We have been twice now and its a do again for sure.

Really enjoyed stopping by here! The beer selection was decent and they have some great bar snacks. They have live music on Saturdays, TVs for sports games, and darts in the back. They also have a very nice outdoor seating area for the warmer months. I would definitely recommend a visit to Red Stone!

Looking for that traditional "Public House" charm and one with an amazing selection of beer and bourbon... Look no further that the Red Stone Pub.

First time here and learned so much. Great old world setting with red stone all around. Great selection of beers. Ask about their 500 beer challenge. Food until around 8:30 including a selection of roast beef sandwiches, French dip, meat with dipping sauces and pretzels. Popcorn machine offers complimentary snacking. Plenty of friendly staff behind the bar and three darts boards in the other room. Bar chairs and booths. Also a Liverpool football club fan gathering spot with the pub being open the morning of matches and serving breakfast sandwiches. Felt welcome almost immediately.

Wonderful atmosphere, great food,and fantastic drinks! I do NOT drink beer, but they have an apple pie chandy that is to die for! It also happened to be trivia night, and we proudly took last place, thank you very much! It was a wonderful night!

Beautiful cozy old English style pub in an historic stone building. Gorgeous fireplace and lovely owners. Excellent craft beer selections and great wine list. Complimentary peanuts and popcorn to snack on with your choice of drink.

Great beer selection and well chosen . Small menu but good eats. Do check out the roast beef sandwich. Gauc and salsa is pretty darned good . Draft beer system is properly maintained so the limited drafts are

Great pub with live music on Wednesday night. Good beer selection, super friendly staff, historic building. In warm weather you can sit outside, and you can bring your dog! If you do, they will bring water for your dog.

The pub fare is on point, their beer game is on point, and they have a huge outdoor area with live bands! The owner and other patrons are welcoming and a pleasure to talk to.

It was worth the wait... I've been trying to check out Red Stone Pub for a few years now and it was worth the wait! They were welcoming. The bar is very well stocked and they have a nice little menu. I will definitely be back very soon.

My favorite part about coming to Red Stone is to see the poochie. Love the staff and overall the place has greasy vibes. The decks are stacked, DO NOT trust the dealer. Bye

It was COVID. Confusing when we arrived but it was no problem once we were sorted and seated. Food was great but it was after a bike ride so water was tap. People were enjoying their beers all around us so it is probably good. I would go back.

An unassuming place you might miss, if not in the know. Don't drive through Simsbury without stopping in to see this great local spot. Owner says hi every time we stop in, friendly staff, very clean, a lot of fun history - and some great customized woodwork.

My absolute favorite bar I have ever been to. The owner and all of his staff could not be more friendly, and they let my dog and I hang out outside while I enjoy the delicious food and incredible beer selection.
