Exceptional meat department, quality prepared foods and a great deli. They run weekly specials and also have fresh bread and produce.

The years may have passed but the new generation is definitely keeping quality and customer service at the forefront of this business. Wonderful selection of Italian foods and products. A must for Italian cooks!

How can ANYONE complain about D & D Market?? One of the few Italian markets that has survived for decades! I for one appreciate the historical aspect but the prepared foods and the various old school offerings, are the hook.

Incredible Deli/Market. Great food, option, prices and staff. We have moved from Wethersfield and miss D&D the most.

Their catering is the best! Lasagna & 4 foot grinder were huge hits. Lots of friendly energy by all the employees!!

Best place ever! Their prepared food is always fresh and delicious. Even better then Stew Lenard’s. They even have the selections like hummus that yo wouldn’t expect to find. Their sandwiches are the best around too. I highly recommend this place. Especially for a new mom that needs one less chore like making dinner!

Marvelous small market. Wonderful selection of prepared foods, deli, meats, vegetables and fresh baked goods. They always have grab and go salads and sandwiches.

I just discovered D&D Market for the first time since I was a little girl living on Franklin Ave 1966-1972. My mother and grandmother used to bring me along weekly. We used to walk a few streets down from Adelaide St. Wow! Flashback! I was looking for a delicious truffle cheese and thought I would check out this market unbeknownst to me until 10 minutes ago that it was the same as Franklin Ave. I live in Branford and will definitely travel up to do more shopping! Everything I bought was amazing! Prepared foods!! Steak tips, chicken, Turkey, salmon and broccoli rabe!!!

Excellent service and variety of Italian products. Fresh produce, meat counter, and delicatessen, all under 1 roof. Prepared foods case is superb. Easy and convenient parking. Mmmm, chicken cutlet. :)

Butcher shop staff and service is outstanding . Their kindness and patience with s 96 year old customer today exceeded all expectations. They are so helpful. They have gone out of their way to help.

The best deli and butcher around. The only place that i know of that still sells mortadella with the pistachios inside. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. Their sandwiches are great as well as their prepared foods.

I am so fortunate to have this amazing market so close by. There really is no need for me to shop anywhere else for meat!

I love D&D, I've been going to them from when they were in Hartford. They have the freshest meat and the best grinders of and give their wings a try, they taste really good!!
