I recently purchased a 2012 Ford XT handicap equipped van in East Hartford, CT. My sales representative was Sheldon Saddler. He made the process smooth, we felt his only objective was our safety and happiness. Sheldon was detailed oriented, if something was missing or wrong he fixed it immediately. Usually you hate buying a new van, but not in this case. I was completely reassured. A special thanks to Tony and the service department for preparing the van ensuring it’s drivability and making me feel I was the important person in this equation.

Will and his team put us in a great, low mile, used (beautiful) van and even delivered it to our home. He went above and beyond. This is our 3rd van in many years— all have been awesome.

These guys know what they are doing! My lift is fairly new but had glitches from the get go. After these wonderful mechanics did a routine maintenance with attention to the glitches I reported to them, it worked better than when I first got it. Their customer service is excellent! Prices reasonable! Thanks Mobility Works for having many places across the country for people with disabilities who travel. I was visiting from Virginia and thought I would have to wait to get back there to get service. I was so grateful to find a Mobility Works in East Hartford about a half hour from where I was visiting. Thanks so much!

Just picked my vehicle up today. The customer service is amazing! Such a caring and pleasant Staff! I was provided many vendors to do my vehicle modifications and I feel fortunate that I picked the right one. They are extremely professional and I can't say enough great things about them. Thank you to Daniel, you were a pleasure to work with! You can't go wrong with mobility works! Timely and reasonable too.

I had a maintenance and oil change appointment from them last week but needed to be out of their place at a certain time coz my son had a doctor appointment as well, and they were very kind to let me come in a little earlier than my service appointment to accommodate my son's needs! I'm very impressed with their customer service! 5 star all the way!

Since the time I bought my van from Ride-Away in East Hartford CT I have been nothing but pleased with the van. I also was very pleased with all the help I received figuring out a good van for my husband with MS even though he did not drive. colour inside had to be light and the person who helped me looked for a light colour one first on the lot and other lots and then went to the factory. The factory just had the one I chose taken right off the line. I bought it.
From there on in the service was great. A motor belt broke to move the door open and closed and they had it repaired under the warranty but the damage done from van being raised up enough could not be under warranty but the service I got was great. I take the van to them every time they say it is time for service on the handicap parts and while it is there, I also have them change the oil , rotate the tires and other non handicap work done. They are very polite and friendly not in a fake way. As long as I own this van I will take it to them.

I have a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan, for 5 months my friend who is a mechanic tried to locate where a rattling noise was coming from. I put new front struts and rear shocks also trailer arm bushings and still had the noise. Took it to Mobility Works in East Hartford, the technician took if for a 15 min. ride then put it on the lift within 5 minutes found the problem. There was a bolt missing from my drivers side rear brake caliper. the manager said it was a good thing that the other bolt didn't give way because the caliper could have jammend the wheel! I could of had a terrible accident. Not only did they in a sense save my life they were very professional and very honest. The bill was only $104.95, $4.95 for the bolt the rest for the labor very pleased with them!

Bought Handcontrols for my vehicle and from the customer service to installation was superb. Having $500 deducted out of my acct by Bruce of Wheelchair Getaways of CT after 4mons although appointment was cancelled it was nice to deal with honest and quality service. Alex was very helpful; although the Handcontrols were purchased in March 2014 we received a check up call a few weeks later to check on the service and any issues we may or may not be having.. Absolutely amazing service.. IF U WANT QUALITY FOR GOOD PRICE COME HERE.. STAY AWAY FROM WHEELCHAIR GETAWAY OF CT IN BETHEL CT OWNER BRUCE!!!!!

Mobility works is fantastic! I've been going there for 5 years for different reasons for my van. The customer service is top notch. Won't go anywhere else to get my van serviced.

Great caring people and great repair and advice for the maintenance of our aging wheelchair vehicle. Owner in MA and we bring it to CT for service. Highly reccomend.

In transit from Connecticut to North Carolina.. van started leaking hydraulic fluid Friday night .. spoke to another company that didn’t have the parts to repair..their tech talked to Ryan who contacted me Saturday morning to get van info .. he checked and couldn’t get parts and repair till Wednesday...he told me his Richmond va location had parts and I was heading that way anyway ... worked out got repaired ... thanks again to Ryan for going above and beyond

I rented a van to take my mom to a family wedding out of state. The staff were very helpful showing me how to use it, and it was easier than I thought. Very good resource!

I've had two vehicles adapted with hand controls in the past few years. Both done very well. Good tight setups. Will keep hitting them for my next ride.

Took care of me 100% except a rusted out rear a/c line that just missed warranty. My mechanic handled it and a rusted out brake line that would have been a problem down the road.

Ride-Away did everything I can think of to make it easy to have hand controls installed in my car. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Courteous, competent staff, clear pricing, convenient parking, reliable rental vans. A positive rental experience.
