At a most unfortunate time we were extremely fortunate to be introduced to Ben & Kevin at Luddy & Peterson. Being a businessman myself I truly appreciate two things from those I deal with, honesty and good communication. Luddy & Peterson demonstrated both with the exemplary service they provided to our family in treating our deceased dad and us with dignity and respect. No one ever wants to make a call to a Funeral Home but when the time comes, as it will for us all, we can say with certainty you can do so with confidence when you call Ben.

I can’t say enough about how thoughtful and professional Brianna has been. I live in FL and my mom in CT. Brianna was a huge help and comfort with making sure everything was being handled she was well spoken, and informed me every step of the way. She was thoughtful and knowledgeable, if she didn’t have the answer she would let me know she needed to get back to me to be sure. I appreciated her level of commitment to customer service. The last thing anyone needs at a time of loss is someone who doesn’t have her professional,compassionate and thoughtful disposition . Keep up the good work!

We had the best experience working with Lauren when my Mom passed away. She came to the house within hours of us calling her, was well prepared with all the proper paperwork, explained everything in detail, all our requests as far as how my Mom was prepared before being cremated were met, she was very compassionate and helpful. She also came to the house to deliver the cremains and had all the paperwork for everything that needed to be done after. Their prices were the best we found. I would highly recommend them.

The service my family and I received was nothing but professional. We decided to call Luddy & Peterson's Funeral Home on a recommendation and so glad we did. Laurin came to our home, which is a service most funeral homes do not provide. She was kind, courteous, compassionate, prompt and knowledgeable. She most defiantly put my family at ease. She was able to provide a full list of helpful tools as my family were not sure what steps to take next. My grandmother was cremated. We requested a picture of her before she went in. They prepared her in a loving manner and we were able to send her in with family pictures. In the process of finding a funeral home we quickly realized it is very cut throat business, we never felt any pressure from Luddy's and will use them in the future.

Would you like to be treated with zero respect by an unimaginably cruel funeral director? Then by all means use Luddy Funeral Home in New Britain! I visited with my fiance and her mother on 1/7/15 to discuss making arrangements for my fiance's brother. The director came down to answer a question we had about viewing the remains and did so with no compassion or consideration for our loss. Luddy's was uprepared, unprofessional and exceptionally rude. Go elsewhere.

Very disappointing, unprofessional and disrespectful during a very difficult time. Good at the sales pitch, terrible at the service. I do not recommend taking your loved one here.

There is no one home. They picked up my mother and disappeared! Terrible company. Stay away.
