Back Nine Tavern at Southington Country Club

Indoor and outdoor dining on the beautiful setting of a golf course. Open to the public. Everything is priced a dollar or two more than expected but that is to be expected ; ) If it tastes great then it's worth it. Ours tasted great! With a comfortable yet classy atmosphere. There were several TVs in the large bar area to catch your favorite game. We ordered a small cheese pizza ($15) and a French Dip with fries ($15). Surprisingly Perfect crisp crust and delicious au jus. During games, there is beer specials. Several varieties on tap and pitcher specials during games. The staff is very attentive even when it started to get busy. Ample parking and easy location.

Outdoor dining with nice views. Chopped salad w/ steak was exceptional. Good food, higher end bar fare. Pizza is good, burgers and wraps above average, great wings. Not your average golf course restaurant.

Celebrated my daughter’s Sweet 16 with all her friends. It was perfect all around. The food & venue exceeded our expectations! Thank you to Shania & Mike for a great 16th birthday party for Ava!

Had our grandma’s 90th birthday party here, and Pete’s team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Food, service, and ambiance were phenomenal. Highly recommend!!!

I recently got married on October 6 and I couldn’t be happier with the whole program. Pete was fabulous and his staff everybody was right on point and all my guests were so impressed with the set up the food the service the ambience everything was perfect. I have to give them a 10 out of 10 they hit it out of the park. It was absolutely fantastic. I just want to thank them for making our special day. Perfect.

First nice day of the spring. Sat outside and had two pizzas and our daughter had Mac and Cheese.
Food came out very very fast. Very good as well, wish there were a little more organized for the outside patio. People were just trying to make seats.

Recently had a a had a 30th birthday party with short notice. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. The food and service exceptional.I would highly recommend the Back Nine.

We used this restaurant for my bridal shower and we were so happy with the outcome! My mom was the one who did most of the planning for the shower and she was talking with Pete a lot through out the process. She was very pleased with his service. The room that we used for the shower was gorgeous, and the food was delicious!

Kind of weird to go to a public golf course for a good meal but do yourself a favor and do it anyways. I used to be really into gold, which is how i discovered there was even a restaurant there. I don't golf much anymore but I am still in there pretty regularly. The bar isn't the best, and it can feel tight depending on where your sitting, but I have never had a bad meal. 10/10 recommend the french dip.

Always good food and service. Love the relaxing view of the golf course and the fire at the tables outside. Definitely eat outside if you can

Located at the Southington Country Club, this is a great spot for dinner. The back patio over looks the golf course and the valley. Patio is decorated with Palm Trees giving a little island feel. We all had salads which were outstanding. Cocktails were very well made. I recommend even if you are not a golfer

time friend. She has
frequented this establishment many times, it was the first for me. We dined on the patio overlooking the golf course. The tables are well set with umbrellas and well maintained. The staff was very attentive to our dining needs. The menu is quite diverse, with daily specials also added. Portions are large and very tasty. I definitely will be coming back!

I could not have had a more pleasant experience at the Back Nine Tavern. My best friend hosted my baby shower in the banquet room and everything was perfect. Pete, the manager, was so kind, helpful, responsive and incredibly accommodating. He even remembered that I didn't like waffles and brought me out a my own personal plate of French toast to eat! The brunch menu was fantastic, everything was fresh and delicious. We look forward to coming back and having future events here, the room was a great size and would be great for any occasion/celebration

The food was great… pasta fagioli soup was so good. Broccoli rabe over penne was not bitter. So sweet and cooked perfectly. The chicken Marsala was fried - didn’t expect that but it was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delish. Hannah was our waitress and she was outgoing, friendly and a great server.

Recently visited for a corporate dinner. Our waitress was 5 stars plus. Food was outstanding I had the corn beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's day and ohhh was it worth it.
Great portion and taste.....

Would recommend again.
