I don't often need a jeweler but the few times in my adult life that I have, it has been for very important occasions. There is no one I would trust more than Neill Walsh in this regard. Besides being a delightful person that's a hoot to converse with, his expertise and skill in his craft are incomparable. He has sourced and set top quality gemstones at reasonable prices and even made a custom designed pendant for me. And when I was looking to save a bit on a new piece, the value he gave me for an older trade-in was instrumental in my being able to upgrade and afford what I really wanted.

Neil has made many pieces of turquoise for me!! Hes the best!! My husband was fishing in Rocky Hill,, on ct river, an when cast out off came a large turquoise ring my mom had made for my dad,,, mom gave Ray the ring!!! he never took it off!! I went to Neil's, i was always in there,, i looked through some books,, saw large ring with red stone an gold!! Told Neil this is the one!! In turquoise an Silver!!! It some time ...... but the end result was fabulous!!! Going back soon!!

Mr. Walsh is exceedingly pleasant to do business with. He immediately resized my great-grandfathers wedding ring for me 3 days before I got married. I returned a few months later to work with him to buy my wife pearl earrings for her birthday, and an incredible pearl necklace for Christmas. He is more than willing to talk through options and price points, and did not push to upsell me to something out of my range as so many chain jewelry stores have a habit of doing. The pieces he creates are all very beautiful, and the range of other products he has is plentious for such a small shop. I will absolutely be returning, if only to browse & chat with Mr Neill. While there, absolutely check out the one-room art gallery he also hosts in the space.

Neil again worked his magic and turned my mom’s mother’s ring, into a beautiful necklace for my sister’s big birthday/retirement party! What a great job! It brought tears, and added such a memorable moment at the party! Thanks again Neil! It was easy and enjoyable to work with you! I’d love to share pictures with you at some point! Neill Walsh Jewelers is in charming Old Wethersfield, Connecticut 06109. I am lucky to have bought 2 necklaces & bracelets that fit my style. When something has gotten a bit bent out of shape, Neill Walsh & his other employees have always been able to quickly re-shape it - so it is beautiful again at a price that fits my schedule & budget. The Customer Service is terrific - very professional and very friendly.
