The Cantina York

The vibe here is so cool. So chill. From the cool tables and booths to the playlist they have going. The employees were laid back and pleasant as well. The walls going outside and to the restrooms are decorated in a very vibrant way. Just makes you feel good.

Friendly staff. We ordered the pork quesadilla Jamaican style. And house margaritas are delicious! A tad pricey but the atmosphere out in the courtyard felt like a hideaway on vacation! So cute! Loved our experience. We will be back again! Next time we'll come on a happy hour! 😊

This place is amazing! We got nachos, street corn, watermelon on a stick, churros, and Mac n cheese bites. All the food was delicious! And their napkins are top notch👍

Absolutely delicious!!!! Very friendly staff and amazing atmosphere. I order a bowl of slow braised beef tips and my friend order a cauliflower tacos and everything taste wonderful! Highly recommended and sure will come back again and again! New favorite place in York, PA
Colin is the best bartender/ host ever!!!

This is an extremely cute Mexican restaurant and bar. In the summer they have the front open and beautiful plants outside and inside. They have a very large courtyard and outdoor bar with beautiful murals as backdrop and plenty of seating and lounge chairs. On weekend nights there is a DJ after 8pm and it can very loud and extremely crowded.

Love the menu and their Happy Hour 4-6pm everyday is worth it!!

Was excited when we walked in. Really good atmosphere off the bat, but it got better. Order online system, which I thought was really neat and worked well for me. (I wish you had Google Pay!) But I got the Bulgogi and Kimchi tacos and they were great. Unique menu items and I wish I could've tried more. Margarita was also great and was on sale for their Thursday deals. Staff was also really friendly. Will be back if I'm in York again.

This is such a great place in the city of York. I love the vibe outside in the back yard. You seem to forget that you are even in York. The food has always been good and the rice bowls are fantastic!

How could you not love this place? It’s so cute! I am a huge plant person and loved all of the plants on display. The margaritas were fairly priced and very tasty. My boyfriend had some sirloin tacos which he said were pretty good. I’d recommend going here

Very unexpected, and new local York town gem. The patio is full of tasteful artwork. The food was great and so were the Moscow mules. Overall the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend a visit to this place.

I had an AMAZING time at the AFRO BEATS day party at Cantina!! The atmosphere was great the food and drinks were so good! I will definitely be back! Tatiana was also very accommodating! I will definitely be back!

Expecting out of town guests soon and cannot wait to take them to The Cantina. So festive. The service is prompt and the wait staff extremely pleasant in a genuine way. Everything is reasonably priced and there are specials every night. The food was great. We certainly enjoyed our pitcher of margaritas. Really looking forward to my next visit.

Stop in for a quick margarita, had a delightful strawberry marg. Drink looked nice, and tasted great, but my experience was truly enhanced when my bartender Phil added a lil flamingo on a stick to my drink! Thanks Phil! Love the vibes! Shall be back to drink with the flamingos.

Such a fun place! The food was absolutely amazing, we got burgers. The drinks were generous and high quality. The server was kind enough to take our order, even though the kitchen was ready to close. The overall atmosphere is diverse, fun, and chill. We can’t wait to have more date nights here!

Their outdoor space is amazing and a great place to host a birthday party. The food was flavorful and delicious! Also, the drinks are on point. I'm looking forward to going back again.

I had a great experience this past Friday night! It was my first time out with my old friend in a while. I just wanted to leave a review because we had such a great time! My friend and I had come in about 15 minutes before the kitchen closed, we could tell other servers were closing up, but they got our food in and it came out hot and ready before the kitchen even closed! I believe our waitresses name was Alexis, She stayed and waited on other tables that also wanted food as well from what I could tell where we were sitting. She seemed very dedicated to her job! My friend got himself some delicious wings and I got crispy fish tacos! The kitchen staff didn’t seem to mind that we had food coming in as they were cleaning up also! The service was exceptional all around and I would love to see this kind of hard working staff around York restaurants much more often! My friend and I will make sure we come back on another Friday night with that dope DJ on!

Real cool back patio with amazing art. Staff was friendly and helpful though you could tell some were still pretty fresh. Drinks had a nice variety while keeping in line with the atmosphere. Food was good. I had the poblano burger but I definitely need to back to try some of the tacos and burritos. All in all a great summer lounge bar. Cant wait to see it to continue to grow.

I love the shared backyard patio here. The tacos are tasty (they have vegetarian options) and the corn was delicious (for me, I really like corn 🌽). They have Karaoke on Tuesday which was really fun as well.

Awesome food, drinks, and vibes! Definitely check out their themed events and parties for a good time. In my opinion it’s one of the coolest places to go in York! They have great DJs and entertainment often as well. It’s so much fun and I always enjoy my time there!
