Carman's Ice Cream

I learned to love this ice cream as a kid and love it even more now. I'm glad it's close to my new home. Or maybe not 🤔🤣😋

Me and my family were on a trip to Maryland when we needed an ice cream place to stop by. This place was worth stopping for. Nice homemade ice cream w/no gelatin for those who wonder. Good prices for ice cream. The teenager that was working there gladly checked for us if the ice cream had gelatin even though she said she didn’t remember seeing it. Nice outdoor area to sit and eat. Overall our family will 110% recommend to go there, even if it’s just to pick up some ice cream.

This is the BEST homemade ice cream I have ever had !! Alot of great flavors. The textures and flavors are perfect! I have tried most of them. They have k-9 cups with a dog biscuit on top.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. It has become one of three stops I make every time I come to PA to visit my grandparents. Best homemade ice cream! We always bring a cooler to take a bunch home. Always phenomenal service and the ice cream is a good price! They always have stock and offer to wrap up with newspaper to keep cool for your journey home.

I wish they weren't so close!!! I have enjoyed everything I have tried so far. I do wish I could taste test sometimes!!

This place is such a treat -literally- best local made ice cream in south central Pennsylvania at such reasonable prices I 110% recommend checking it out😃!

Very nice new location. Same excellent quality product we have experienced for over 30 years. Well worth the extra time to arrive and they still wrap their product well for your trip home.

I really enjoy this ice cream, and usually get it at Saubels in Whiteford, Maryland. This ice cream is more like traditional home made ice cream. I like it because it has a nice mellow flavor and is refreshing without being overly rich. Great treat and something I look forward to during cheat days. Highly recommended!

If you enjoy homemade icy ice cream like I do, then this place is for you. This is the only chocolate ice cream I will eat (seriously, because I do not like chocolate). The workers/owners are always super sweet. I love that you can see them making The ice cream at times. It’s a quick grab and go stop. Highly recommend checking it out

Very small inside so no seating. Prices super reasonable.. Small Cup is 1.70 pint is 2.55 n half gallon 6.55 i think. A lot of flavors. My clients loved their cups. I got coffee flavor n it was just a hint of coffee. I wanted lemon but they sold out. I highly recommend the vanilla n the ice cream in general. Made on premises

Amazing icy ice cream. I love going to Carman’s with my family and each getting a $1.70 cup of ice cream and sitting out on one of the picnic benches. My favorite is chocolate peanut butter, but all the flavors are good and the service is usually fast. Great roadside place for homemade ice cream!

Artisanal offering having an amazing taste indeed! I was on a visit from Canada and taken to the place by my host brother to get to know Logan Valley beyond its scenic beauty. What a delightful experience!

We stop at Carman’s on our way from Baltimore to Scranton. Best Ice cream we have ever had! Also they make teaberry ice cream, my favorite, which is hard to get. They will double wrap the ice cream in newspaper , a great way to keep the ice cream frozen, because we travel approximately 3 hours and it stays frozen. People are always nice and helpful!!!

The teens that were working were very awkward but the ice cream was fantastic as always. Carman's is definitely my go to place for ice cream. I get stomach problems when I eat store bought ice cream but my tummy loves Carman's.

Me and my family have been driving over an hour to this little hometown ice cream place for over 10 years. And I've spread the word to anyone willing to hear about it. The ice cream tastes exactly how it should, home made. My parents have since moved to a town not far from Loganville so now I have an excuse to go more often. As it turns out, carmans also does seasonal flavors, and the apple strudel is amazing.

cream is wonderful. The mint chocolate chip was a hit with our kids. There is no seating inside, but a beautiful large maple tree to sit under. The ice cream is kept very cold and I'm sure it can travel well.

Oh, and the prices are very good too.

Best homemade ice cream in York County to my knowledge. Not like I'm a food critic traveling the globe trying delicacys or nothing. But its good ice cream and is not overly pricey either.

Amazing Fresh Icecream, you can taste the quality in every bite. I just bought over a gallon in multiple flavors, but I've been a fan for a year... since the first bite. You can also buy Carmen's ice cream at Twin Pines Country Store on seven valleys Road in Codorus PA. Among other places I haven't visited yet.

Always great ice cream. We take it home and make milk shakes from the vanilla. So much better than any shake out there.
