Summer St Pizza Deli & Restaurant

First time here, staff was awesome! Ordered the Randy Special and hot dam was it delicious! I'm from Alaska and travel all over; Best Pastrami on Rye I've had. The lady at the register was so friendly. Food came out quickly and was fresh.

Great place to visit in downtown Stamford. A lot of unique sandwich offerings and a great selection of breakfast items. I made a custom sandwich with some nice, crispy curly fries and had a hell of a meal. It was a good amount of food for the price and the staff was friendly when I picked it up.

Nice option for lunch or breakfast.

Visiting for the day and when I asked locals where to eat nearby they all suggested Summer Street Kitchen. So glad I got to try - on top of the delicious food (I ordered a "small" Greek salad + grilled chicken with house dressing and toasted pita bread) Michelle working the counter was an absolute sweetheart! I'll definitely be back when I return in a couple of weeks.

My favorite pizza in Stamford for a long time. The secret is in the dough. It's got a great crispy crust throughout and is easy to reheat in the oven. It's all most like a focaccia crust. The flavors in the marinara are on point and the ratio of cheese to crust to sauce is on point. Always worth it. Get the large pepperoni pie.

I been eating here since I was In Wright tech high school 30 years ago food is the best I make a 30 mile trip once a week to see my friend behind the counter for his bacon egg and cheese sandwich or Italian combo. Don't let this little place fool you their food is top notch. Summer st deli for life..

I was hungry and went in for a very late breakfast of eggs&toast. The cook was good and the food was yummy. I had a nice order of fries to good and I liked them too. I'll be back!

Honestly walking in I didn't expect much.. Cooks were hard at work and food come out fast.. Probably the best grilled chicken chicken Ive ever had

My new go-to deli in Stamford! Ordered twice from them already, both times I ordered the Italian Combo. I am so impressed with the amount of meat, and the quality of everything here! The sandwich was stuffed! I also got the Macaroni Salad, and it was the best i've ever had! Not overly saturated in liquid, perfect consistency. I am a big fan, looking forward to trying their other items on the menu as well!

Just good food. As soon as we ordered, our food was being made. Staff was friendly and the food was good. Nothing too fancy but exactly what I was looking for.

I've been looking for a good place to get breakfast delivered, and I think I finally found my new go-to. Their Mexican burrito is large, full of tasty ingredients, and the tortilla held together well. French toast was made perfectly. Everything was priced reasonably, and was delivered to me on Bedford St by Maria in less than 30 minutes.. thanks everyone!!! You'll be seeing a lot more orders from me.

Great sandwiches. Especially love their chicken cutlets & homemade hot sauce

It's been a long time since I've been "blown away" by a breakfast sandwich. This thing checked all the boxes. Large, hearty, whole grain bread, toasted perfectly. A heap of thick, crunchy bacon. Two slices of American cheese and at least two egg whites done to perfection. An excellent value and a truly outstanding breakfast sandwich. Well done guys!

Michelle & the staff @ Summer Street are awesome. Highly recommend everything here. The Mexican breakfast burrito is one of my favorite options for breakfast. Prices are great, food is fantastic & the portions are plentiful.

This is a great place to eat. It was slow so I sat by the window hoping business would pick and it did. A middle-aged couple came in with a puzzled look on their face, as though they were desperate for something to do.
The menu is large and in charge but I judge each deli by one dish and one dish alone, the chicken parm wedge. Is the bread fresh, is the chicken crispy, is the sauce homemade etc.? Sometimes a spot is constrained by its ability to both deliver and keep the price down; Summer Street Deli somehow figured this out. I ordered a Pedro Special and a Chicken Parm Wedge and spent $25 with tip. Not bad. The chicken parm was crispy, the sauce was sweet and the motz was tangy. The chili was also delicious with a touch of spice but not to little which infuriates me. I like a hot chili. Like a diet Merrit Canteen chili flavor, very good though.

But over all I like this little spot with lots of dining space that is roomy but maintains a classic feel without all this pretentious so called atmosphere that doesn’t require it’s presence in a neighborhood spot such as this. Definitely worth a look but don’t take your date here unless your married, it’s not that kind of place bro ;).

Ordered food on advance for a train trip and picked up on time. The eggplant sandwich was delicious. The other food was good though it leaked a bit. Other than that, everything was great. Service was very friendly. Great place.

They have the best sandwiches around! I love their chicken cutlet pesto sandwich. I always get it with avocado. I only have good things to say. It is one of my and my boyfriend’s favorite spot to grab a sandwich and go to the beach. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

Everyone who works here is incredibly pleasant and hardworking. I have been coming here since I started working on Summer Street and the people who work here truly become like friends. There are a variety of options for food and everything I have tried has been delicious. Highly recommend their omelets, breakfast bagels, tuna melts, and their wraps.

A nice little corner deli on summer street. Freshly made sandwiches and burgers all the time. You can also customize your food as per your preferences.
Chicken Southwest Panini is a must try. Also their turkey burgers just melts in your mouth.
Try their warm and hearty soups during winter.

Phenomenal food and excellent friendly and fast service. Tons of options and they give you a ton of good. Great bang for the buck. $10 large sandwiches. And great seasonings. Look no further for a filling appropriately- priced meal!

This is by far the best deli in Stamford. They have an outstanding Bacon Egg and Cheese, great sandwiches, and fantastic pizza. I've eaten at Summer Street dozens of times and they have never once disappointed!!
