The New Pennsburg Diner

It's been a long time since I have eaten here and since we needed dinner, we stopped by to see what's new. We had an excellent meal! The soup was tasty (I did need to add a little pepper), my salad was phenomenal with tender grilled chicken, seasoned pita wedges and lots of feta cheese and the apple crumb pie was sinful!! Our server was delightful (she should get a turn as hostess 😀) and the bathroom was clean and tidy. It was a very pleasant surprise and we will definitely stop by again!

It's a dinner for everyone who loves the idea of being here. I had the beef chili and a side of fries. The chili was delicious and homemade fresh vegetables in it and great beans. The broth was very moist but not runny, I liked it very much. In fact I made chili-fries with the extra fries, only thing missing was cheese.

Love a small "Mom n Pop" Diner. Good people, good food and very welcoming.

We had a large group, and the waitress was very nice and got all our orders correct. I had the omelette and home fries with toast and I recommend it! The coffee was good. The pancakes were large and fluffy. My husband loves the Reuben sandwich.

Consistently good diner food here at the "new" Pennsburg Diner. I often come for breakfast on the weekends, and the service is friendly, the food is good and you don't have to wait too long for your food. It's always clean inside of the restaurant, and they have dedicated parking spots out front for take-out orders. I also like that the parking lot is perfectly sized for the restaurant.

Great breakfast. Watch prices of side orders. Might as well order a breakfast cause side if pork roll is 5.39 and a full breakfast with drink is 6.89. Doesn't make sense. Also one pancake is 4.39. Add toppings were 2$ each. So one package came too 8.89 plus side of pork roll for 5.39. Just wrong

Every time we have eaten here the food was delicious and the service great. Everyone was friendly,pleasant and made sure we were enjoying our meal. Clean,cheerful atmosphere,as well.

The food is really good. My eggs, home fries, pancake, french toast, and bacon could have been hotter but it's really hard to keep them hot once they come if the grill. Drive was excellent. Stuffed french toast is a favorite with many people.

Food was good with no complaint. Staff was friendly and attentive.

We haven't been here in quite some time. Decided to give them another chance. Since inflation, I feel like Pennsburg Diner hasn't raised their prices & now they're more affordable than other places. All of our meals were delicious & our waitress was the bomb. My omelet was ginormous & scrumptious. I'd definitely come back more often after our last visit. The menu has been extended & sadly, the salad bar has been removed. I think my omlette meal was around $10.50 & it was an extra $1.50 for cheese. It came with potatoes and toast (I opted for raisin toast and I'm happy it came out without butter so I could do it myself) So good! Kids all loved their meals. Spaghetti dinner, I think, was only $10, came with a huge bowl of noodles (menu says its spaghetti but if you look at the photo, it's actually linguini which my husband doesn't like as much as spaghetti. The menu is inaccurate), 3 substantial meatballs, a huge side salad & soup. I wasn't a fan of the cream of broccoli, but the side salad was legit - it had crutons, cucumbers, carrots & cherry tomatoes. They didn't skimp, it was a bangin salad & Ken's dressing is the bomb.

Original review several years ago:
Our meal took over an hour & all we ordered was a pork roll sandwich & rare burger. Our waitress was in lalaland... Couldn't get anything I asked for & the order was wrong. When the host asked how our meal was, I informed him of an extremely long wait (over an hour) & he blew me off. Why ask how it was if you dont genuinely care about your customers? Hm.

For a diner, it's okay. Limited menu & slightly overpriced for a classic greasy spoon, in my opinion. It's definitely not my first choice of diners in the area.

Great traditional diner in the area. We were here for a dance competition and we came both days! The staff was fantastic and the food was delicious and affordable. Would definitely make this a regulars stop. We got breakfast for dinner which is always a special treat and there were huge portions and the food was so yummy!!

Home town feeling. People nice great food. Loved the Coleslaw!!!!

Great local diner in Pennsburg. Everything is good. Standard breakfast fare is just what you would expect. For lunch their gyro with sweet potato fries is my go to. Last time there I ordered egg plant parm with pasta which was pretty good too. Can't go wrong here.

Good home cook type meal, excellent. Service polite and establishment very clean. Down to earth style food. Would highly recommend.

This Diner is a staple for this community. Wonderful place to meet friends and or family and have a great bite to eat. Have always enjoyed this place.

1st time here, after going to see a matinee movie at The Grand Theater. The food was good, and the service was also. Will definitely go back.
