The couple who own this place are so nice. The place is amazing and clean. You must go here if you are in East straudsburg. You must try their food. The food is very tasty, fresh and they give you enough food. If you are hungry, go there they cook fast. You will be hooked up to their food and be back when you are in town. Good food, served with veggies that are still crispy, and good flavor in the sauce. $14 got me a large enough portion for two meals, and I am not a small person or light eater.

The size of the serving compared to the cost is worth every penny. Got chicken lo mein combo platter for $10.50. I could eat what they gave me for 3 days. Enormous serving size! 5 stars for service. 4 stars for taste. Ask for extra sauce or show up earlier than I did. Made my order in store when they were supposed to be closed but they took care of me and fed me like a king! Staff is awesome!

Taste really good can't beat the prices! The lo-mein, chicken, salads, and soup is very amazing. Very filling unlike most foods and gives a warm feeling inside. This food is amazing for dinner, dates, take out, and all special occasions. I experienced an amazing time here. The cook or chef is amazing at what they do. The manager is very understanding and works for perfection and strives for it every day. I have came on multiple occasions and you can't beat it.

At 75, I've had a ton of experience with chinese restaurants all around the country and this one reigns supreme in my book. lovely owners, consistently great food, fair prices and very fast service for take-out. I also enjoy their house chardonnay!

Great service and food! So sorry they are selling their business but I have heard they have been there for a long time. It's one of the last few true Chinese restaurants that I remember as a child.

Now a days, there is primarily just take out where you usually cannot or do not want to sit to eat. But, I will enjoy them while I'm here!

Lin and Ken are great. Excellent food and service. Their won-ton soup is excellent, as is all their food. Very large portions, friendly service, and great people all around.

Amazing lo mein and amazing food service. Loved it 100% greatest Chinese restaurant I ever ate at. Great for a family dinner, date, and any other occasion celebrations. This food is not like junk food that doesn't fill you up, you eat here and you don't have to eat another meal for awhile. Great food and worth it for the price. The person who serves the food is always very nice, and brings a warm welcome every time I visit. I recommend this place a lot.

This place will always my favorite! I have been coming here ever since I was a little boy with my mom until now at 24 years old. This place will always be famous for their general chicken and other great foods, the owners are very friendly and love their customers, I travel from Allentown to come here when me and my fiancé are craving Chinese food.

Always amazing. Everything I get there is so delicious. When my family and I first moved here we tried a variety of different Chinese restaurants because that's our favorite but bamboo house takes the win. You guys are the best!

Excellent service. Food was so good, hot and fresh. Wontons were the best, and made fresh in house. Very impressed, and can't wait to go back and try something new. Best Chinese food we have had in years!!

The food was delicious and the price is excellent! I got the lunch special for $5.95 and there was enough to take home for later! I would definitely recommend this place for take our or fine in. No buffet, but the food is hot and fresh and tastes so good!

I stopped here for lunch yesterday and was so impressed that I’m back today. The lunch specials are very reasonably priced (under ten bucks), the food is great (NY/NJ style Chinese), the portions are large, and the staff is really friendly.

I moved to the Poconos from Southern California ten years ago and Bamboo House/Koi has THE BEST SUSHI AND SASHIMI in the area! The prices are right, the service is excellent, portions are large and the fish is FRESH and delicious! Highly recommended!
