Bistecca By Il Mulino

Wife and I went there for our anniversary. Wife had the veal bolognes and I had the shrimp and scallop gnocchi. Food was superb and all sides are Ala carte. Then when we where finished they surprised us with a vanilla Gelato for our anniversary. Recommend.

The receptionist was fantastic, our server was great.. although busy and did take a little while but not very long to get our main entree.
We had the jumbo shrimp, bolognese, chicken parm, cheesecake, and chocolate cake… all were fantastic.
We already told our family about how yummy it was! But I will say, make a reservation!!!

I can’t say enough about this place. The food was fantastic. Our Waiter John was so attentive Friendly Always made sure our drinks were full, and Made sure that our food was to our liking The manager Ann Marie was exceptional Very friendly also made sure that everything was good at our table Fantastic experience 😄

They are offering a Prix Fixe special for prime rib so we decided to eat here. It was an app (soup or salad), prime rib, and then the chocolate flourless torte for dessert. It was probably one of the best prime ribs I’ve had in a long while in this area. It came out a perfect medium, ask for the creamy horseradish, and was tender and juicy. The prix fixe is overkill as the prime rib was more than enough on its own, but the torte was decadent and ended the meal perfectly.

Our server was great and very attentive. This place really has great service and food which is why we come back.

I enjoyed the salmon dish that they had. It was flavourful. A nice ambience as well.

The ambiance is great for date night. The hostess was friendly and our reservations were honored about 10 minutes early. Crab cakes were delicious, the lasagna was great, the seafood gnocchi was excellent, the cheese cake was out of this world, the panacota was delicious. My girlfriend's two sangria's were tasty and strong. My unsweet iced tea was unsweet and iced. The only thing that lacked was honestly the service. Our waiter took long to bring the first sangria and outright forgot about the second. Fortunately the manager came by and checked on us and it was corrected before we became frustrated. The time between appetizers and entree was very long. It was okay because we weren't trying to rush. Since the food was all great and the fresh bread and butter were good, it wasn't deal breaking. Fortunately I had good company. Do not miss out on dessert, my expectations were exceeded. All in all we definitely want to come here again. It was Valentine's Day and it was crowded so the slow service is somewhat understandable. But considering the price of the meal, therefore the expected tip, it is hard to be too forgiving.

My girlfriend loved the restaurant choice and thought the ambiance was perfect for a romantic night out. We honestly had a very memorable date due in large part to the atmosphere and good dining experience

OMG is clearly the only thing to say ! Not only was the food phenomenal but the service , the service was beyond A1. The staff took the service to new heights. Especially head server Jah! He was sure we were taken care of from start to finish. Him and the rest of the staff who was helping him over delivered. From pouring our water for us , giving us suggestions on appetizers and salad, and when the time came also appetizers. It was me and my wife’s first time here and we were blown away! My wife got the meatballs which were juicy and succulent made from multiple meats , and I had the calamari which was fried to perfection without the greasy chew you get from other places. Jah directed us on some of his current favorites and we decided to go with the shrimp scampi and lasagna entrees. Both came out piping hot and Jah proceeded to shower the shrimp in a down pour of fresh Parmesan cheese. All while the lasagna deliver on its delicious pork veal and beef bits layered in a bolognese between fresh pasta. Jah then checked on us multiple times and even refilled my cups without even asking. Only one word could describe this WOW. As an extra special touch we went with the cheesecake ending and Jah was charming enough to remember our earlier convo of why we were out to celebrate my wife being pregnant with our first son, and in chocolate on the plate he wrote “congratulations on the jr”. This was more then we expected in all the right ways. 10/10 must go again!!

Amazing staffs, delicious food and beautiful ambience. I visited on Friday (group of 5) and had to return on Saturday for the Shrimp Scampi Pasta😋. If I lived close I would probably visit every week! Shout out to Demond, Jordan, Carter and JaHH!!! The Lady (host) at the entrance was very pleasant too! Great experience overall!!!

On Saturday 9/23, 4 couples dinned at your restaurant. I have eaten there many times and the food and service have always been great. We 1st ordered cocktails and a bottle of wine to have with our meal. The apps came, the wine came, and then the cocktails. The bar was not busy so no excuse. The bartender was the person that finally delivered the drinks. The salmon was overcooked and one had to go back. The rest of the order was marginal at best. I don't mind paying for good food, and we don't expect a small tab at your restaurant, but the experience was very bad. Very disappointed. We have a vacation home in the area and there are only a few places we enjoy dinning out.

11/29/23 We returned at the suggestion of the customer relations mgr. The food and service was what we have come to expect, very good! Eric was our server and did a great job. Thank you for restoring our confidence in your product.

Worth every penny we paid. At first I cringed at the $65 cost for the steak I wanted, but I'm so glad I ordered it! The texture was excellent, the temperature was perfect and the taste was quite flavorful. Their in house steaksauce is a solid choice too, almost tastes like a more elegant variant of A1. My girlfriend ordered the chicken parm and that was an excellent choice too. The consistency of the cheese was positively surprising. The chicken parm had an option to be bone-in or boneless, I never realized that was even a thing for that dish. She got it boneless. I ordered a side of the mashed potatoes with my steak and they was perfectly creamy and tasty. To be fair, we went on a Monday night while on vacation and there were maybe 6 other tables full besides us, so our food came out quite quickly. Over all the service was great and I felt my needs were adequately attended to. Disclaimer: this restaurant is located within the Mount Airy casino, so you will need to walk through the casino play floor to get to it. So make sure you come ready with ID. The restaurant is family friendly, but you'll need to wait for a casino security member to check your IDs and then escort you to the restaurant if you come in with minors.

My friends and I just celebrated a bachelorette weekend in the Poconos and visited Bistecca By Il Mulino for dinner. I can’t say enough good things about not only the restaurant, food and drinks, but we had literally the BEST experience with the staff there! Jahh, Hector, Jordan and countless others not only were so much fun, so patient with a table of rowdy girls, but really went above and beyond to make our night (and the bride) feel special. It was an unforgettable night to thanks to them and it was the highlight of the bride’s weekend! We can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I had a delicious dinner here! We ordered the chicken parm and the filet. Both were amazing. Johnny was very accommodating and made our experience even better. Highly recommend!

I had a good feeling about this restaurant the moment we walked in. The hostess warmly welcomed my wife and I into the establishment and ushered us to a table. This was our first experience in Bistecca.
We were not sure what to expect being a Saturday plus Holiday weekend. The menu prices were reasonable and the service was amazing, very attentive and friendly staff. The hostess assured us we would have a delightful experience. She was absolutely correct and we will be returning for another date night next time we are in town. Thanks to everyone who participated in making our dining experience memorable and delightful.

Great food, The best restaurant in the premises! The atmosphere is great , the service is amazing and the food is excellent. Definitely will revisit.

I got a room block at the Mt. Airy Casino resort for my wedding and decided to do my rehearsal dinner at Bistecca by Il Mulino. I was blown away by what an amazing experience we had!!! The food was incredible and the service was immaculate. The waiters were so kind and helpful. We got so much food with the family style menu and all of it was fantastic. So many of the guests agreed that the chicken was “the best they’ve ever had in their life!” I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant for a large group event or just for dinner if you are staying at the casino!!

I went to dinner with my husband to celebrate our baby boy on the way. Our waiter Jah, was prompt, trustworthy when making decisions on what to eat on the menu, attentive, and very polite. The food was amazing! Large portions, very fresh and hot! I definitely recommend!

Not sure why the ratings are low perhaps understaffed on a busy night . I came here with my son I was so scared he is a pandemic baby and I am trying to get him out more. I was so nervous coming a fine dining restaurant with a 2 year old throwing temper tantrums ? Let me tell you they accommodated us in every manner possible . My some loved the fried they substituted the truffle per hour waiter also check out his food truck best smash burgers In the area. Thank you for the great service and for making my sons birthday the most memorable I will never forget how comfortable you made someone who has high anxiety.

As my husband and I got a weekend away,we ended up passing through the area and happened to see this unique eatery.We came inside and the Ambiance was Stellar! As we sat down our waiter Michael had such dedicated ambition from ordering drinks to the appetizers. Definitely was on top of his game with passion and strive, very polite with a smile at all time's. He had everything on the table in perfect timing for us from the start.The dishes he described from the menu we're just phenomenally delicious as he explained as well.. I would highly recommend this place but recommend Michael he is a tremendous guy to serve you.

My girlfriend and I had an absolute pleasure meal. By far the best dish is the chicken parmigiana. Truly one of the best I have ever had. Service was extremely good. Brooklyn drink was also phenomenal.
