Great little cafe, homey decor and delicious food!

Can't go into Mountain home without stopping here! Great food always a smile with our service large variety of menu items and Fresh Soups daily, the soups are not something to be missed. Atmosphere is very quaint and relaxed. Always decorated for the occasion and very nice Garden work. Coffee is brewed fresh daily!

When I am in the mood for a good soup this is where I go. The Italian is my favorite here also. Coffee is always fresh and staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is very homey and I like that it's always decorated according to occasions and season.

This place is awesome. The atmosphere is cool, the people are crazy friendly, and the breakfast sandwich (sausage, egg, and cheese w/a hash brown on the sandwich) was mind blowing. Yes hash brown ON the sandwich, don't knock it till you try it!! Hot fresh and delicious. My wife, the vegan, isn't much of a breakfast person but they have the best everything bagels this side of Brooklyn. Hot fresh coffee and a smile and my day was off to an amazing start. I didn't even care that it was raining...AGAIN!! Great place. You should treat yourself

We've been going to the Mountainhome Deli (or Ray's, as we call it) since I was a child. The homemade soups are always wonderful and everything is always fresh and tasty. Even without many options locally, this place is truly a gem.

Such a quaint place for a nice breakfast or lunch. Staff are always friendly. I missed the usually good music today. It was quiet. But good food and coffee

Great local deli. Open for breakfast and lunch with a variety of options including vegetarian options. It has a nice, comfortable, home-y feeling inside and I especially like all of the fun signs/decorations around.

The Smokey and the Bacon is where it's at. Everything here is delicious but the Smokey and the Bacon is the best item on the menu.

I don't know what's taken us so long. We live locally and this is our go to place for lunch. Great menu, delicious food, pleasant staff, good surroundings!! You won't regret a visit!

We frequented MHD when we lived here. Now in Hawley & still go to Canadensis Vet & go here every vet visit! This is comparable to a great LI NY Deli - which we are use to! AND the staff & owner so personable!
All the food is delicious, soups comforting & yummy! We ordered a hero to go - a warm choice.- & you can't believe how neatly they packed it so we could easily put it together to heat it up! If you have room- the Peanut Butter cookie is the bomb!! (Note tip jar - they've earned it!)

This place was a surprise. I thought it was just a little rural deli. All sorts of inventive things on the menu. Food was excellent. Glad I stopped in for lunch!

This is another one of our great spots in the Mount Pocono area. Love coming here.

First off, it was my only ESPRESSO SPOT for the first couple years up here cause DD's and McD's didn't sell it yet and Starbucks was just too far away.

But, breakfast sandwiches, deli sandwiches, quiches, bagels, soups, salads, and deserts are PRIMO here. Flavor is king. Subtle hints and hidden tastes are blended in nicely to make things - SUMPTUOUS.

Ray doesn't just buy from one purveyor - he buys from loads of them so he gets you THE BEST FLAVOR. Talk food with the man - HE KNOWS HIS STUFF.

The atmosphere is wonderful in either dining room. One has full sun, the other does not. And the place is an EMPORIUM for Hot Sauces and Coffee Memorabilia!
