Josie Porter Farm

My experience with them comes from the Josie Porter Open Mic nights which happens every other Wednesday.

Their staff is friendly and supportive, they have a love of community and the arts, and their products are crafted with care.

It is hard to say too many nice things about this place from that perspective.

Such an inviting little farm market! Great home grown, chemical free produce. They also carry quality meats and cheeses from nearby farmers. They have a CSA and Buying Club!

Really looking forward ton the fall csa shares and I loved the CSA card they offered this year instead of being locked in to weekly shares you could use it like cash.

We live going to pick up our share each week. It has made eating in season so easy. The vegetables are wonderful and the people are so friendly and knowledgeable. We always pick up some extras like eggs at the store. Just a wonderful experience. So glad we invested in such a great organization.

Stars are for the friendliness, hospitality and sharing of these great people. Knowledgeable and patient, we managed to arrive on their open house and invited for a tour and pot luck. If only I lived closer. Hats off to Heidi, Gary and staff. New appreciation for fresh stuff.

Josie Porter Farm feeds our family! We love the produce, which is always fresh and delicious. A wonderful variety of meats, dairy and condiments are available in the farm store. From delicious vinegar to beautiful handmade soaps, there is always something lovely to discover. The knowledgable staff is ready to assist and answer questions. It is important to our family to eat locally and seasonally, Josie Porter never lets us down. We have found that we do not need to shop at the larger grocery stores, the farm kept our pantry full even through the cold winter months! I became sick, much too sick to go out after a hospital stay for a rattle snake bite I received at home. It hurt to walk. Much to my surprise the farm brought my share to my house and were very kind and concerned for me! Never ever walk into your flower beds without checking with a leaf rake first. Those snakes can get you!

Stopped by today,wasn't sure if they were open,they were not.But much to my surprise,Josie showed up with her truck...asked what I needed,and got it for me!!!! I was a very happy farm shopper!!!!! I always go there !!! Awesome!!!!

Top quality meats and produce. I always get my turkey from them - always a crowd pleaser!
