Took my Jeep in for axle seals and when it was taken apart, they found bad axle bearings. They replaced the bearings, and it rides like a new Jeep. Before it would slow down quickly when you let off the gas, now it coasts along, and the gas mileage has increased. Very nice to deal with and competent mechanics, you couldn't ask for more. As a first time caller to R&L this morning, Russ answered the phone and I explained the issue i was having with my air conditioner in my car. Russ explained to me that he was booked out a week but stop by in a few hours and he would check out my car to make sure it was safe to drive and use the air conditioner until scheduling an appointment. Now that's customer service!!!

Hands down the best shop I have been to. Great customer service and great quality. They know exactly what they're doing and they do it right the first time. I even moved out of town and still take my car here.

Russell and the guys at the shop are great. They really tried their best to get my truck repaired in a timely matter despite bad communication from my insurance. I have a 6” lifted truck and I’m so grateful they were able to fix it. It’s hard to find trustworthy/capable people around here and I’m glad I did. I’d definitely recommend getting any work you need done at the shop.

Two different states, two brand new batteries and $500 wasted. I took my vehicle to R&L automotive upon referral. It was my vehicle’s alternator after all. THE. BEST. AUTO. REPAIR. EVER! If I could, I would give a dozen stars! These guys possibly saved my life this week due to their owner Russ, and eagle-eyed employee, Brady. I was in PA and driving home to LI, NY when I hit a pothole and started hearing a thumping sound out my passenger window. I called AAA and got a list of their approved garages in the area. On the list, R&L had the best reviews so I called them, left a message, and headed there just before they opened hoping they could take a look. They had a very busy day, but they fit me in. All the folks I met in the waiting room were loyal customers who loved this garage and wouldnt go anywhere else. That gave me reassurance from the get-go.A newer mechanic, Brady, was assigned to take my truck for a test drive. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and so nice to my dog (who looks scary, but wanted to go for the ride with Brady.) Almost immediately, Brady and Russ discovered one of my tires was about to burst because the belt had snapped. They replaced it right there with my spare, Russ only charged me $30 for the whole visit (while joking that they were going to ream me with out-of-state-fees). Done in 45 minutes! The truck instantly felt more stable. I made it across I-80, over bridges, through NY City traffic, and home without a hitch. Many garages I've visited try to sell me something extra, or charge extre fees. These guys did none of that. They care and take pride in doing a good job. Russ DOES have a wise-guy sense of humor. He reminds me of Click and Clack The Tappet Brothers from CarTalk who say, "dont drive like my brother!" I noticed another google reviewer saying the owner was abusive over the phone. In person I could see it's just the way he jokes. I feel sorry that the other reviewer didnt give this garage a chance. it would have been the best service their car ever got. TAKE YOUR CAR OR TRUCK HERE! You wont be ripped off and your car or truck will get first class care. And if you have an animal with you, all the employees, especially Russ, will dote on him or her. (And the signs and cartoons hanging in the waiting room will make you laugh.)

Russ and the guys in the shop are fantastic. They are honest, knowledgeable and quick to get the job complete. Been a customer for 8 years and never regretted it.

This shop is a great recommendation from a coworker. Fast expert service. I made two separate appointments for both of my vehicles. Both I made for nine am. When i arrived both times my car was taken in immediately with no delay. The game changer is the level of experience and expertise. All mechanics are seasoned professionals. The guys at R&L are friendly and reliable. They take the time to answer questions and explain what needs to be done. They do what they say they will and deliver high quality work in a timely manner. I am very happy with the work they did on my Chevy Silverado and will definitely be back when I need more work done. I highly recommend them for all your automotive needs!

Very good mechanic shop. They do good work, in a timely manner, and for a reasonable price, hard to beat that!
Update: Had an oil change on 1/29/2020, in and out in less than 40 minutes, more like 30, but who's counting? Again super nice bunch of folks doing good work.

R&L have been our mechanics forever!!! They are honest, need I say more. When it's time to stop putting money in a car they tell you! Our son & wife were in from Chicago and Russell took car of their car. My son was blown away because they were so helpful and most of all honest. I68f you're looking for a mechanic go to R&L.

It can be hard to find a mechanic that you trust. But I have found R&L to be that. They do the required work without adding extra truly unnecessary work. And what they charge seems fair. I have recommended them to family and friends who also have been pleased with the work R&L has done for them.

No-one in the Pocono's does a better job than R&L Automotive. They are professionals who take care of every detail including reminding you when you're due for maintenance.Their garages are clean and organized and they carry most parts but if they don't have what's needed they'll get it within a day or two. I have been using R& L for many years and will never bring my car anywhere else.

These guys are the BEST! Very honest, trustworthy, they do excellent work, AND they've got an awesome sense of humor to boot. Couldn't be happier. Bring your vehicle here, you'll be glad you did! Thanks guys!
