Thousand Trails Timothy Lake North

This is our favorite place to camp. Pool, playground, basketball hoops and more. Lots of great hiking around the area. This place has gotten some bad reviews recently but the new management is making some nice changes. It's no secret that this campground was on the decline but it is now moving in the right direction. They are now providing activities for the kids again. This weekend they had a DJ at the pool and a movie at night. The improvements have been noticeable. We will continue to stay here at least a few times a year.

Friendly staff. People complain that this park is run down, but I don't see it this way.

A little high grass here and there doesn't mean run down.

Park is mostly not full, so if you're looking for some quit time, this would be a good place.

They also have lots of empty cheap cabins, so grab the opportunity and rent one for the season.

I have also noticed that the kids at this park play a lot together (when the park fills up sometimes), so this could be a nice family vacation spot

Overall, I really like this park and staff and would recommend it if you're not that picky, and like a good old style camping.

my family and i stayed here from wed threw memorial weekend till tuesday and we had a great time. considering the huge storm that just blew threw and took out the power for a couple days the week before the holiday, the sites were alot more picked up then I expected. i took my daughter down to the activities center Saturday morning and she had a blast with the other kids for a good 2 hours. the pool was clean and running, everything worked on our site. the employees I did meet were very friendly. reading some of these new reviews id like to say if you brought it with you then u throw it away or it goes back with you, that's not the camps fault if other campers are leaving garbage around. if you're expecting your campsite to be perfectly flat then you prob havnt really camped before, memebers are allowed to come, picnic and go home if they want or camp out... The campground was quiet till about Saturday night but who doesnt party on vacation?... we had a blast, and have no serious complaints, we have been camping here for a good 5 or 6 years now and always come back. :) :)

Wish North was open all year. We have a rv and a cabin

Lg campground, South Park is cleaner and nicer than north park, facilities all need a huge upgrade. Pool was nice.
We had a membership with thousand trails so we didn't have to pay anything but I still think my options matters! Would not pick this campsite again.

Great place to get away from the daily grind. No cell service unless you have Verizon or AT&T. No internet either. Lots of stuff to do with the kids. They have areas that are very quiet and away from everyone or you can be areas that are humming., it's up to you.

Good RV park. Flat spots, well kept park, nice people, decent country store.

Nice place to stay for a few days rest. Pool and waterpark for kids is nice too

Such a relaxing environment with great people. Love see others enjoying themselves listening to music and enjoying the fireplace

Beautiful with all the amenities perfect camping for all families..very friendly and great outdoors for the family .have been camping here for a year

A nice tranquil place to come and relax,b.b.q,and have a good time with friends and family.You can camp with tents or RV's and if you own a cabin even better.In the summer is even better when the pool is open.The people are friendly and it's a beautiful place to come to.

I rented an annual site for the first time and love it. Neighbors are fun

Great campground, spacious sites and large pool.
Needs upgraded adult lounge with billiards table and better furniture.

Very nice camp ground and have lots to do for kids.
