Franco's Lounge Restaurant & Music Club

Franco’s is a great spot. We’ve been here twice. The food is ALWAYS great and we always leave full. Everything appears to be homemade, which is awesome. The staff is very friendly too. This really makes the experience nice. The owner normally walks around and speaks to everyone, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend dining here. Just make sure you make a reservation.

I haven't been to Franco's in maybe 12 years. But the lure of Pasta and my recollection of them having Lambic Framboise on tap gave me a craving to visit again. I wanted to go the first night we were in town, but they are closed on Tuesdays. I ended up finding their hours on Google and planned to go another day.

There is a pay parking lot just a few yards away in which we parked and walked. Upon arrival I was unaware of two things. It's apparently now very "speak-easy esque" the door is locked and you have to ring a door bell or call for entry. And reservations are pretty much required. I did not have a reservation.

We were very fortunate that they were able to accommodate us without a reservation because the place was packed. We were seated at a small table for two in the back. Our waitress was very efficient but I got the impression that she was less than enthusiastic about us crashing without a reservation. Plus I think we were way underdressed. But she softened up to us.

Now the highlight of the night. The meal. This was hands down one of the most fantastic meals we have had in years. I of course started with a Lambic Framboise. Draft Lambic is so much better than bottled. It was cold and refreshing and truly perfect.

We ordered a Calamari Pacific style which is deep fried. This calamari was unlike typical deep fried calamari that is chewy and rubbery. This was delightfuly tender and delicate. Perfectly cooked and breaded.

I ordered the Chicken Picata and my husband ordered Seafood Fra Diavolo. Both came with salads and bread. The pasta on both dishes was homemade. My Picata was amazing, full of flavor and I couldn't get enough of the pasta. I ate every noodle and left some chicken because the pasta was just that good.

The seafood on my husbands pasta has large fresh mussels along with shrimp and calamari. It was blended with a spicy marinara that my husband said had perfect heat. I wanted to order a Tiramisu but we were stuffed.

The restaurant itself was eclectic but well maintained. And you could tell by how busy it was that it is well loved. Prices were on the higher end but completely reasonable for the quality. Not to bring up a sore subject for the Williamsport area but if they had a direct flight to IPT I'd definitely want to come back just to have another amazing meal.

Finally made it here to have dinner. I wasn't disappointed. The food we had was phenomenal. I had the meat ravioli, chili, and garlic bread and salad. It was soooo good. Everyone else loved their dinners. The staff was excellent and there is no doubt we will be making the trip again.

Franco's is a classic neighborhood restaurant and bar where everyone is welcome. Great food and such a friendly, welcoming place. I had the special pasta with crabmeat and my husband had the pasta with wild boar bolognese sauce: both dishes were delish! And of course, canolli for dessert! If you're in Williamsport you gotta go to Franco's!

Great place!! The food is absolutely amazing. This is my favorite restaurant out of all my reviews. This is a must when I am in Williamsport.

The shrooms are excellent. The mozzarella and capicola is phenomenal.

And the cheesecake is freakin great!

5 stars is not high enough for their service. Bar staff very friendly and accommodating. A real pleasure! Food was equally as good. Great wine selections and prices were reasonable. Highly recommended!!

If you're looking for amazing Italian food in a cozy atmosphere, this is the place. Fred and the rest of the crew behind the bar are wonderful, friendly hosts. The chef, Maria, is world class. One of my favorite restaurants.

Franco’s Lounge is one of the coolest restaurants in the nation and the world-at-large. I’ve had the pleasure of spending lots of time there as both a staff member and a guest, and Fred and Maria’s motto of “Love all, serve all” shines through. I would not be who I am without Franco’s Lounge. The wild boar bolognese is pretty good too. 🍝

Wow. I found Franco’s on google maps and planned the first nights stay of a leaf seeing weekend excursion with my wife and youngest son around dinner at Franco’s. We shared plates of crispy duck tenders, calamari, and garlic bruschetta with marinara and hot peppers as appetizers and the salmon bisque as a starter with Roman Carbonara, tips and torts, and the fettuccine Alfredo as main courses. We were not disappointed. We then shared the Cheese cake with a mixed berry compote that was to die for (sorry we got carried away and forgot pics of the soup and cheese cake). The restaurant is small yet relaxed and definitely reservations are recommended. The service was fast and friendly and we highly recommend trying Franco’s when in the area.

Freddie's place has been a standby since I was growing up 20 years ago. Great food, beer/wine selection, and a place where you're welcomed as a family member. Couldn't imagine Williamsport without Franco's.

Last night was our first time at Franco’s. The service was absolutely wonderful. The food was perfection. We have pretty high standards for Italian, and I will say this place really goes above and beyond!! I would give 10 stars!!

Tips and torts dinner was fantastic! Old fashioned with house made bitter was also great! Atmosphere had character and was relaxed with jazzy music. Stopped here while passing through to Corning NY, but would definitely come back when we're in the area again. P.s. you have to ring the doorbell to get in.

An absolutely perfect, 10/10 meal. We ate much that we didn’t feel like moving afterwards. Service (Seth) and ambiance were exquisite. There’s a reason we always come here.

I’m a Cajun from S. Louisiana. I rarely ever eat a meal away from home that has satisfying flavor. I add Cajun seasoning to everything except my drink. Not once, did it ever cross my mind to add anything to this food. Unbelievably authentic Italian cuisine, old school atmosphere, incredible service. A restaurant I’ll never forget as long as I live. Fantastic job Franco!

Franco's is a great place to go for a lovely dinner! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, delicious food and exciting atmosphere. Never a disappointment.

I love the atmosphere here. I feel like I'm in Little Italy in the city. Never had bad food here, but their bruschetta especially is damn fine!

The food and service are always top notch! I love that this is one of very few places that have Framboise Lambic on tap.

Fred is probably the coolest person on planet Earth. Great food and atmosphere. Been eating here for years, I refer out of town folks all the time.

Every visit here is amazing. The food is always good. If you haven’t been here yet - you need to stop in. It’s a definite must see when you are in Williamsport. You will not be disappointed!
